So are you running one group of plants under led and another under hps? All your plants look real nice, I would like to know what your opinion is of which light is better.

I had 8 plants under a 330watt LED, but that was noticably too many plants, not enough light. So i bought a 1000watt hps and set it up. I took the four worst looking of my plants out of the 8, and put them under the hps. Now the hps look like they are going to easily yeild more, bigger buds, really stinky, and dense. But the LED grows that strait medical looking bud. Not as much, but looks and smells so amazing that im keeping it for my personals. They are two grows in seperate rooms. I honestly prefer hps flowering, and LED for veg. Your plants with bee done before you know it, not to mention the A grade.

whoa think of the implications. are you saying you can get comparable results from 330w vs 1000w. this could be significant.

Quite comparable, maybe not neccisarily with weight, but it will produce the grade A. So crystaly, this is my first LED grow and im stoked on it. To maximize your yield, i would definetly use the LED to veg, and HPS to flower. But if you only have LED then i wouldnt hesitate to try, it worked out great with me, with the help of some cfls.

and once u have dried it could please right up a smoke report and any noticeable difference in taste /potency

I can't wait to see your final results. There is a lot of debate about leds on here but your grow is a good side by side comparison.

Kinda looks like he is running both at the same time. ALL LED grows have that funky not of this planet look.
It depends on the spectrum range of the LEDs too, though. I have one lamp that is far red, and it makes everything "electric pink." My 6 band had a far more "of this world" look as it uses blue & far blue (near white) in addition to the reds.

I am interested in info about the quality of your LED grown buds. I don't need huge yields or big buds, but quality is very important. LED may be the way to go if I can grow 1/4 to 1/2 lb. annually in small crops while maintaining premium quality without all the power consumption and heat of more traditional lighting. Looking forward to seeing your results.
