Led lighting controller - Wiring issues

Hello all
I'm trying to hookup my Photontek XT1000 CO2 led lights to my Trolmaster Hydro X Pro Controller

Photontek = M12

Trolmaster = RJ12

Trying to see if there's an M12 adapter but not seeing a whole lot.

Have heard I could cut wires but that sounds like a fire waiting to happen

Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas?

Been trying to get a hold of Photontek and thats a waste of time smh

The website says

Universal Control Systems Compatibility
P-Tek Pro LED Fixtures can be fully controlled with either the PhotonTek Digital Controller or with any other Control System that utilises 0-10V output signal. Even if your Universal Controller has an RJ port interface, you can still run our LEDs by using a signal converter RJ to 0-10V control adaptor.

So try contacting Trolmaster or splice an M12 to a RJ12, a 10v control signal isn't going to start any fires.

For 0-10V control you want the LmA-14 adapter Trolmaster uses. So far I've installed two of these. One of my home made LEDs. One a gavita lit room. In both cases the same adapter works. Because it's the one die 0-10v protocol.

So the RJ 12 is a 4 wire configuration.
but two wires are connected so effectively it's 2 wire for dimming. Which on your driver is DIM- and DIM+ .

so buy an adapter like this one in the link. This is an M12 or get the female one. Whatever makes sense on your photontek light. Checks the sex of the end connected to the driver and buy the opposite M12 fitting. . And wire it to a telephone cable RJ12 using this diagram
corresponding ports below.
