Thanks for the reply, it does help. I'm running blind with this new LED panel just when I getting comfortable with my 400w HID. It's just too damn hot in the summer to run the HPS. If my harvest lives up to expectation, I will permanently box up the HID and go strictly LED.

I hear you, I luckily have a huge ac and can cool down my hid room, but I love having both hid and led... slowly but surely I think there will be a transition to led as it just makes sense once price/coverage+penetration can come closer to hid.

It took seeing a couple reputable grower harvests before I was sold on LED. They are an expensive investment and like everything else cannabis related, a lot of bad information is out there. What bothers me the most are the vendors out there with junk products preying on the uninformed buyers. Gives the whole led industry a bad reputation.

Glad you are out there proving it can be done. Catch up with you later CC and thanks again for the help.

No matter what you buy, an educated consumer is a marketer's worst enemy. I anted up $360 for a ufo 90 3 years ago. Never met my expectations, BUT, the more I learned about LEDs the more use I have gotten out of it, and there is a lot of useful life left, but it has already paid for itself

Hey guys sorry for my neglected thread, nothing great has happened considering my sour diesel tranny bitch was hiding her balls below her canopy nicely so my run got seeded up :( bummer city.... almost 4 years growing but i guess it can happen to anyone...anyways I think from now on ill be buying reg seeds because I've been having some bad luck with fem. Even though every other fem seed was fine, very much looking forward to my clones that are growing now. I'll get some pics up later or tomorrow even though I'm depressed lol

FEMs are a total waste of $$$$$.

If you follow basic temp, nute, ppm, RH and wattage guidelines, you will get 85%+ females

I hear you, believe me... I had reg dj short f13 a while back and out of 10 beans 6 or 7 were female and beautiful. I had been running clones for so long just figured I'd start fresh with some strains I had lying around and got lazy with the fem versions ...lesson learned lol (well trying to laugh anyway)

Update day 41 flower, only 2 plants are seeded up badly .....otherwise the four plants that were under hps the whole time and the two under my apollo (6 plants that were in my separate flower area) seem to be alot better. They are all in the hps room now until the cmh's arrive, as I needed my led area for veg purposes.

where did you get them. I have to get new CMH again. Now I'm hearing shady things about almost every single place that sells allstarts.

Drum Roll the new lights are in, maybe there is a cmh section, but i think I'm still in the right place for now lol. Three dna solutions true 900 lamps and ballasts set up and blasting my plants to the finish line! Lots of pics I swear its like the roof came off and the sun is in my room haha. My set up is now two cmh in og hoods with a 1000 watt horti super hps in the middle inside a blockbuster hood. Then I put the other cmh in an og hood in my veg area...looks so niccce.

^^^ is that a digi ballast running those all-starts?? dimmable?that spd on the box is inflated, but its a par monster no doubt! especially in those vert hoods.

Can you check the output hz on the ballast for me? Thanks appreciate it allot!

Got a price on those? And i'm so jealous !

^^^ DNA figured out how to use digitals. Their lower watt ones are all t6. I wonder if they will run on a 120v. Or of they are like the other elite agros . I emailed them last night. So waiting for a reply.

Yeah I can see the specs now, but the 860w allstart is made for mag ballasts(60hz) and won't fire on 200hz+ I thought. SOOOOO much misinformation on this bulb is driving me bonkers. Unless they are fudging the hz #'s and it is a digi running at 60hz with no dimming basically a slight improvement on the mag efficiency.

OR maybe this bulb can fire at 100hz!! need chaz to confirm if possible without a serious shift/lumen depreciation. Something smells fishy to me, maybe they are hiding the true #'s so people think it's proprietary and pay BIG $$$$

looks like it also runs on 120v 50/60hz on the input.....not like the elites. wtf are we missing here????

Oh no doubt in my mind you will grow monsters with these CMH bulbs! Its the best bulb on the market IMO, and has measured almost 600umols at five feet away and in the corner of a 4x4 tent! with your vert hoods......bonkers is right brother:-)

Nothing touches it (Gavita 1000w hps pro may get close, not sure) and its like bringing outdoors in. love working under them TBH........i'm pulling up a chair for the full run with these, if personally seen what the 330w can do and these are another level.

Edit...can I all you a simple question? Does the ballast make any noise whatsoever? Humming?, its fanless right? Thanks
