Right so there's no point in going full LED for flowering and not switching out the fluoro vegetative lights the moms and clones sit under. We all know they will be better acclimated to the LED light if the clones come from moms under LED as well...SO....

I am open to suggestions for LED's that will suffice for moms and clones in the above mentioned tents.

Details:

Veg dedicated tents for moms= 5x2x5ft. 4x moms at around 2.5-3ft tall. I want one light to cover the whole space and needs to be equal to there abouts to the 220W of fluoro I have now.

The clones tent is the same size and has 4x 36 hole amazon aero cloners. Clones get at most to about 4 inches before moving along to the flower tents. The same applies....one LED panel that covers the space and is less or equal to the 220W fluoro.

All suggestions are welcome including aquarium lighting which has mostly blue spectrum...

With panels dedicated to veg I feel like you can use some of the less expensive models and they will still veg very well. Maybe consider a couple blackstars? I've been wanting to try an all blue veg led for a while now to see how it works, but full spectrum flowering models veg very well on their own.

I agree, no need to spend too much but not often do I see a dedicated veg led except for blackstar or stealthgrow but we all know what they cost. Ideally I would like a 90cm evo4 or illumitex type set up but they are £300 give or take which is expensive for what they are asked to do..

LEDs still cost $$$$$ for such coverage. Consider a 4 ft X 4 bulb Quantum Bad Boy + 2 Zoomed + 2 ATI Special Blue Actinics (or other mfg equivalents). Even the Quantum Grow bulbs work really well. A 4 bulb probably has the same amount of heat as the number/size leds you would need.

Thanks for the input flora, the money is not an issue, what is important is getting a nice pair of LED lights that will do the job. I won't need too much intensity because considering I've been using successfully fluoro 2x55W PLL veg lights for moms and for clones I have proven to myself that not too much light is needed.

The real objective is to get LED throughout, including the moms and clones so that flowering is a natural progression under led. I have been looking for led's that will be effecient and suit the space perfectly.....say like the evo4 90. 1 per tent should suffice to tick over the moms or the clones. I was just curious to see if other LED freaks could make suggestions in case I have overlooked a brand etc..
