Hi all, please bare with me in case of any mistakes with my English as I'm not a native speaker.
I'm a medical patient in the Netherlands and I'm building a growing space. When my space is ready I will start a journal and hope that you guys can guide me through the process. (Already read myself in but will probably need help down the road)
Back on the LED topic. I have read so many different opinions that it was hard to choose.
In the end I ordered some Ali baba quantum boards, first order over there, so curious when they will arrive.
I don't have meters to test the lights when they come in, however, I will start a journal so that we can all see if they are any good. ( I truly hope so, as I still found them expensive)
Will keep you guys posted once they come in.
Please don't tell me these lights are shit if you haven't tried them.

I don't have meters to read par and all that jazz. I find that most company readings are pretty accurate

In case you are planning to create a thread I will surely follow. I also almost ordered the Spiderfarmer, went for the fotops purely because of my grow space 1m x 1,5m

not much of a poster and too scared to document anything for fear of metadata in the photos
. I went with the smaller designs as I want to be able to keep the lights optimal over the canopy. Currently I either raise them for the tallest plants or leave them short and worry about bleaching.

It is a Chinese brand called Meijiu and the name is 800 fotops v2. A quantum board with top Samsung lm301b and 660 epistar LEDs comes with a mean well driver HLG-600H-AB/B
I believe @Rocket Soul says those are good boards. We like AB drivers! Found a couple threads....

I very much like the fotop format for openspace grows. Run them low at 150w and 8 inches and cover the entire crop.
I run lm561c v1 boards, great for the price. Epi reds i generally avoid them as they arent as efficient as the white diodes.

As an update, received the lights in good order. Took 7 days from ordering to the door. Total cost €497.-
Question:
Is it best to place to meanwell driver ontop of the heatsink or put it somewhere separate?
