To date, my bestva is doing great for veg. They are not accurate with their wattage, but their "1000w" light performs great for vegging a 3x3 area at 16 inches. I am flowering soon with their "3000w" light with a 4x4 area. There are better, but quality of finished product is just fine for medical uses...

How much 660nm is too much? I have some Cree diodes at home and I want to add them to my 3000K Samsung Q's on separate driver.

Samsung F series LM561C in 3000 Kelvin.
Think the light is with more white spectrum, but for veg need more 440-460nm, or add some 660nm for flowering, or add some green one, i see most led in the market now do more white leds, maybe this would be a little wrong. i still like my pro 1600watt led epistar with blue, red and of course the white spectrum and some IR. plants probably more like this lighting. BTW, ppl diy light would also be a new creates, that needs time to see. Good luck and happy growing. :weed::weed::weed:

Shed the blurple entirely 4 years ago and my white COBs and LEDs for flower are bright white 3500k to 4500k and the results have been great at my house. My last blurple light was a Vipar RBW that drew 178 watts and burned blue diodes out twice.

Goin fishing later but doubt that I will troll much.

I’m curious about the quantum boards ! I believe that marshydro makes a quantum board but I don’t know anything about it. I’m also not comfortable building a light from scratch I would like to learn enough to do it at some point safely

You'd probably pay a premium with mars and get unreliable driversJust buy the ready made kits, websites :, DIY LED uk or if you in USA try timber, chilled,HLG,growm, they offer full DIY kit's or readymade, Good luck

I want to pull the trigger on ordering LEDS.. nichia & the cutter website is not a option (not good service as of 04/19).. I was under the impression nothing is better than nichia strips right now.. I don't see where else to buy them besides cutter & that's not a option.. so back to the trusty lm301??? Screenshot_20190409-055036.jpgIf I wanted to build a vertical light fixture similar like above I need strips that I can keep close & will run @typical current, maybe less for more efficiency.. seems like H influx strips are more less geared towards running strips close & at low wattage .. EFFICIENCY is my goal.. that 3 uMol/j...
