Made a 2x4 Flower light to go with the 4/5k veg light.
All strips are Samsung M series 3.5k from a couple weeks ago when arrow had them for 89c. Lol
150lm/w I’ll take for the price. 24v-1350ma. 320w at 90%. Found Meanwell EDR drivers for Cheap $20-150w-that mount outside the tents.
taking a shot on the 660nm’s strip instead of Cree stars on veg. Next round coming soon to test these diy out! Trainwreck/Hdream.
safe new year everyone:joint::peace::joint:
Dud how r you? How much did you pay for the light? Or you made your self?
Im from Portugal and I'm still a rookie tell me i have #Lumatek aurora 315 watts LEC, and I never see my Plants give such great flowers awesome, do you know this light?

Currently running 10x gorilla glue auto fems with 2 600w LED panels. These panels have different switches for veg and bloom, each using different parts of the light spectrum. If I understand correctly, this is to remedy the issues regular leds have with flowering. Will update as they progress.

What issues?

As was mentioned at the beginning of this thread, some LEDs can extend flowering times. I've also heard of people using regular LED panels for veg then switching the lights for flower. Like I said, these are supposed to be good for both as the flowering light is in a different part of the light spectrum and has a lot more red and infrared in it.

You have 10 under 2 600s...you dont have enough light I run 2..sometimes 3 under a sf2000 ..best of luck
This is my first run with this setup and kind of an experiment to see how things go. I was honestly only expecting to get maybe 8 out of the 10 seeds but all of them germinated so here we are. Also they are still seedlings, haven't even got their 3s yet so no way to tell gender, though these are fem so hopefully no males to cull. As the grow progresses I may buy another panel, but honestly just the two that I have are so bright I feel blind after being in the tent, even with sunglasses.

I guess some blurples may have issues, but using white leds there are no issues... Atleast in common 2700-4000 kelvin leds.

Autos are always fem..you can get male autos..but I've never heard of someone buying autos and they end up being male..how big a tent do you have?

Yeah, the veg light is more blurple, the bloom is more red.
My tent is 4x8, I'm hoping that will be enough room since autos are smaller

Don't necessarily assume autos are always small...this is also an auto, also there is a reason the majority of growers on here don't use burple..its not that they aren't good...there are just better lights then those..if that light says 600w..its probably more like 100w..Screenshot_20210217-081129_Google.jpgnot my photo

View attachment 4828772Full spectrum】: KingLED LED grow light provides full spectrum lighting from 380 nm to 780 nm (including UV + IR) of natural light for plants needed of all growing stages.
So you only have 250 watts of power each of those lights only draw 125w each and they will not replace a 250w hid light like they claim. I am sorry to say it but you have very inadequate lighting for a 4x8 tent

The specs on the lights I have say they are each equivalent of 250w hps... Not sure how accurate that is but going by those numbers, that would be around 500w total in the tent.

Gotcha. While I'm not sure that power draw is necessarily equivocal to power output, I do see your point. Luckily they are still in the seedling stage, so I will probably add more soon. Any suggestions for light cycle? I've been running 18/6

By they are not man. They are equal to maybe 150 hid not 250 though. You would need atleast 4 of them in a 4x4 tent to have some what adequate lighting each light is only good for maybe a 1x2 space honestly

Those numbers aren't accurate at all...not to burst your bubble...but you'll find out soon enough, one of those lights is barley enough for 1 plant...we've all bought them and we've all switched them out as fast as we could..look at spiderfatner, mars hydro or vispectra those are all great starter lights..here's a lovely pic of my old burples as a nightstand20210217_082408.jpg
