So I talk to George on the phone yesterday ad es sending me a brand new one with a shipping label o send the old one back free! He said at the time I bought mine thu had a few manufacturer issues with sauleder joint on the light bit te new ones have been under high stress test and there won't be anymore problems he also said they have a 400 watt unit now a well and hes working on a hybrid plasma led light!
Plasma and led :) love to see what they come up with if real plasma lights ever get down in price they produce the best light next to natural sun so i'm really exicted to see what California light works is doing. these are the same guys who thought to add uvb bulbs to their led so they think outside the box.

Hey Dickhead,
the 1.5 came from directly under the LED. It covered about 3.5 x 3.5 ft. It is hard to tell in the video but the plants that would have received some bleed over light were no bigger, and the tops were actually less dense. I stretched out that whole area now so it is larger and that HPS is not running. The HPS only yielded 6 oz, it was my white rhino that i have run for over 2 years. I think the WR got a virus or something cause it used to kill it and cuttings rooted really fast, with almost 100% success. Now cuttings dont take and take for ever to root and the plants just dont grow.

Those are good number for that Room and light but keep me posted when u run those lights solely in that room. White rhino is suppose to throw out some good weight from why I've read about it so it makes sense to pull those kinda numbers how is taste and smell of that bread?

sounds a little bit like a salesman but I am sure those lights deliver anyway
re
Hey Enduro,
I am a salesman...at a bike shop. But really though, i am just super psyched to see LED starting to produce real numbers. I have been following LED for a few years now. My buddy got one of their lights and I watched his grow and was impressed, so I thought would give it a go. Last grow which I didn't journal, was my first run with LEDs, and I was blown away. My trimmer talked me up to doing a few post since their are a lot of companys out there have garbage products. I have seen other grows and you can clearly see T5 or HPS in the background. That is bull as far as I am concerned. If a light works it should stand alone and work, and to supplement with HPS defeats the purpose of LED. I am a geek so i got a plant cam (after a month back order) so everyone can see no cheating. I will run again in 2 months with my AK48 cut that can crush the yields to see what kind of numbers this thing can really do.

Here's the replyback I recieved from ledmio. They are pretty expensive and appear to have a pretty industry standard spectrum. Would like more infoon the specs still before writing them off:

Thank you very much for your interest in our product.

Our MSRP for AL-BR20W is $285.00 USD. We do give discount for multiple units orders. Our lights cover area is between 1 sq/ft to 1.5 sq/ft per unit it all depends which type of plants you are intented to use it with.

Please find attached image as our LED lights have the same ``Chlorophyll A`` The peaks of chlorophyll A are at 665 nm and 465 nm . Our LED lights run very close to these two specific range.

If you any other question please let me know, I will be at your service. Thank You.
Puff I'm a little confused here. Aren't you talking about LEDTONIX's AL-RB20W;

http://ledtonix.com/
or http://ledtonix.com/tag/surface-mount-smd-led/

Looks like they make them for ledmio, or is it the other way around? Or is it that some company makes the AL-RB20W for both? :-?

Good find Fran! I didn't know about this, I actually have no idea who supplies who? It's definitely the same light and the same graphs/pics shown, but the ledtonix site seems to have some more info than ledmio and appears to be written better as well. Would you mind writing ledtonix and asking them, and maybe I can do the same but with ledmio and see who says what?

Hey Dickhead,
This run is only the LED in the same room, just stretched the frame out a bit to make room for the hydro tray. For 2 years the WR did produce great numbers and smoke. So I was pretty bummed to chop her. It was really weird how fast the mother declined, and how the cuts where just horrible. It was a 2 month old hortilux bulb I was using on my lumatek ballast. Same soil and nutes as always. I would usaully expect around a pound, so that is that.

Yeah no problem Puff. I've been meaning to shoot off a few emails to some companies so I'll do it some time tomorrow.

You will be - when they work like they are for you (and for me) they seem to work very well. I don't know why some people don't have luck (other than some people don't know as much as they think about growing) - I'm quite happy with mine.

I think some people have just set their expectations too high on cheap fixtures. You can't expect to replace an HID system for less than the cost of the ballast, bulb, reflector, and fan in my opinion.

I just started using LEDs in the 6500k range bright white containing all proper colour spectrums they are alot better than HID both MH and HPS no heat ! very little power consumption on the meter but having to switch to the red/blue ones during flowering gets tricky in my small room
