Yes and No!
It doesn't work like this!
First what kind of led??? (Very important! )
Then the size of the grow room...what for (vegg/bloom)!
Cause 3 plants is vague...10 inches...5 feets...what size?
It is better if you know your consommation...how much you smoke every day...then you can calculate how much you need to grow every time to have some all the year!!!
Have a great day ★

Hey just wondering if you think a 100 watt led would be enough for 3 plants I've got great soil and been using fox farms wondering what to expect bongsmilie
LEDs: unless you're getting soft to medium ran Cree or vero cobs or Osram oslon SSL80 LEDs then likely the LEDs are less efficient or same as HID lighting.

How to tell what LEDs are in a panel? If it doesn't say then it's because it's the worse kind of LEDs. If it says and isn't vero 19-29 or Cree CXB then I reccom no you steer clear of it.

If you're hoping to get a great LED light for cheap there's no such thing

Area 51 w90 has a 90watt led for 175$ 1 vero 29 cob
After that GOGREENLEDS has a light for 450$ 4 CXB cobs

LOL

I see that not only are you getting much better at asking good questions of newcomers, but your English is also improving.

This is why I enjoy reading your posts, my friend, because sometimes the humor is priceless; 'consummation' is what a couple does on the first night of marriage. 'Consumption' was the term I believe you were looking for... LMAO

It must be endemic to the French people... sex is always on their mind! :-D

Lmfao!!! I still laugh...lol!
But who knows what people do with their weed...consumers do consumption is that correct!?
I learn every day here by reading posts...cause every day I find new words, products, etc... (sometime you make me mad when you just use the first letters of a word only, like lmfao or lol, I know those but there's many I don't! )
And if I am here it is because I feel better than on the french site I use to go for years (almost a decade! )...better ambiance here...great knowledge, nice people and good and real informations!
You gonna say I am a hippie...but I fell like we are all from the same little (but bigger and bigger!)family!
Have a great day ★

Lol, I feel your pain! English sucks! I can say that in part because BOTH of my parents were English professors...

Look on the bright side; you didn't try to use the word 'constipation'... LMFAO!

English is such a weird language. Lasagna and bologna don't rhyme? What?

As to the OP - I'd say no way, based on the limited info you've presented.... Which, as jacob pointed out, you're leaving a lot of relevant info out... Size of space? Size of plants? 100W isn't cutting it, imo. In a 4x4, I'd be running at least 500W of COB LED. 1 COB per 1x1 = 16 COB for 4x4 @ 35W per COB (could go lower and drive it at 700mA, 35W is at 1.05mA) = 560W per 4x4.

That 560W should be pretty comparable to about 800-1kW HPS with a fraction of the heat and a slightly better spectrum.

I thing to know about french and english is that almost all the word who finish by "tion"mean the same thing in the two language!!!!reservation/creation/revolution/animation/revelation/elimination/reception and many more...but not all (eventration/deratisation is only french I guess!)
So now you know many new french word (if you know the english ones!)
Have a great day ★

Ok, I'll try; 'my expression of constipation created a conflagration during our consummation- and led to condemnation by my one time fascination!'

How's that? C'est romantique, no?

Well, english is the bastard son of anglo-saxons (ie german-danes), and normans, (ie 'des français') ...
So it's not surprising about half of english is french, the other half comes from german/danish ...

but a lot of words in french do not mean the same in english. There is often a drift in meaning ...

Terrible, in english, is usually used to describe something that is of poor quality or not very good at all. In french it still has a negative meaning, but has a more "mighty" and powerful sound to it, and is commonly used to describe something that is awesome or has great gravity or impact (..)

'He's horrible' usually means he's mean, not nice to others, 'Il est horrible' usually means he's ugly ...

Nowadays french words are taking their english meaning ... "Supporter" / To support in french, used to mean, to kope with, or to tolerate, now it means to encourage ..

it's alive .... what you gonna do.

Back to topic : a 100W led doesn't exist, a plant is not a unit of measure of canopy :wall: Ok I'm out ;)

They're making 100W COB LED lights by the millions, bro. Would you believe they're making COBs as big as 2400W now?!

Agreed on plant count not being correlated to cannot surface area.

I love living languages; so don't be crackin' on it, foo! My grandfather is spinning in his grave, LOL
