I think it was tiki or wayeast that said they were using some seedjunky cut playing off like they had the cut. Seedjunky said no one had the cut but him so then it came out they were using a cut from seeds they popped.

Always a little grey in the market. I dont get not disclosing whether its the actual cut or you're own selection from seeds you popped. Just a bit of shade I reckon.

Pretty sure it was tiki. I remember hearing he had seed junky’s jealousy cut and then shortly after people called him out he said he hunted through a pack or two of seeds.

germinate 4, came out 3
fast vegetative, small pot, feed almost water and is pollinated, it was only 1 test batch
in general it is very similar to runtz,
but better growth, strength, production and bagappeal, apparently the runtz hybrids improve a lot than pure,show pretty purple/red colors

the smell is almost the same as runtz but more defined gelato berry cream less gas, it smells very good and a pheno has a background more citrus lemon,
in 1 more month I will be able to see if it marks flavor,
In general I like it and I think I will germinate the complete pack to find a keeper

If u grow Runtz u would notice that one is purpleish and one is fully green (white Runtz) I been saying this but some of these Runtz cuts seem like gelato renames or backcrosses

I have money bag Runtz which is like a gelato 33 on steroids I have white Runtz which is like a gassy sweet it doesn’t have the peeper like gelato and I also have purple Runtz it’s the strongest but least flavor but it’s way stronger than all the others

I got the Exotic Runtz s1 freebies. Indeed, I have a purplish foxtailer, a green one that almost looks like Triangle Kush...super gassy, and another pheno that's green, throws HUGE NUGS, then never finishes...lol. Looks almost Chemdog like, thick leathery leaves...

Lemon Cherry Gelato is actually a cut Black Cherry Gelato that was later re-named to LCG. Throw in the hype and boom new strain is born.

So I wanted to see if anyone here knew the backstory of lemon cherry gelato...if it's is just another pheno of gelato that popped out of nowhere? Or is it a another strain that was crossed say to gelato #41, #45 or perhaps even #49 and then named lemon cherry gelato?? I've seen some lemon cherry gelatos in veg and to me their structure looks very runtz like. Either way would love to know more about this strain if anyone knows.

That's funny you said that because I've been getting flower from Cali that was black cherry gelato since the summer and it was fire. Pretty sure black cherry gelato came from the backpack Boyz....lots of people think the lemon cherry gelato is for a certain runtz cut.

How did the lemon cherry gelato stack up compared to tiki devil driver line?

Jus listened to a podcast with young lb on it and he said cos cannatique wouldn't pay the liscence fee they wouldn't let them grow the runtz no more so lemon cherry gelato was born ... its all gelato anyway ain't it
