Where can I get the Kingbrite 80 deg glass lenses or equivalent IN EUROPE?

I am expanding my light and have already all the parts, but I need two more lenses.
Would Jerry sell 2x lenses only and do "cheap" shipping?
So far I ONLY know of Kingbrite and Cutter (90 deg instead of 80 deg) lenses, but w/ both sources the s/h cost would be far more than the lenses...
Need some way to get 2 lenses w/o the idiotic shipping cost...

Argh, Jerry doesn't want to send just two with "cheap" shipping? No-one in Europe has two of the 80 deg lenses and wants to sell them? :)

Should i use the kb 120° lens or no lens? Ive been reading mixed reviews. Some of these posts say the cob lights have better numbers and more evenly spread with the lens but ive also read supraspl and i think greengenes say the that the lens penalize the cob lights but i see growmou5 use lens and he gets awesome results. Can i get some opinions please. My first time building a cob light set up. Thanks

I havent. And thanks for the replies. Im using 3070 cobs. Figuredi can buy more of them and each cob covers a 14x14 inch area.
I run CXB3590 without lenses or reflectors. I think it depends on what current you drive the COBS at and how high you hang your fixture. I run mine @700ma and my glow is kept low to the canopy. If you are driving your 3070s harder and trying to cover a larger area the benefit of reflectors and lenses becomes more apparent.

Cheers,
Will

Yeahim running them at 1400ma and plan on hanging about 15 inches about the canopy. Whats your opinion about that? Too far or too close? What i want is canopy penetration.

I have no experience running 3070s or any COB at 1400ma so any advice I give is speculative at best.

Is the 15 inches due to height restrictions? Are you growing in a tent or enclosed grow space? Are we talking "tree" canopy or SOG/SCROG canopy?

If it were me I would be tempted to build the fixture without lenses for the sake of expediance since you are having trouble sourcing the lenses at the moment. You always have the option of adding them in future. Perhaps for now build your luminarie and adjust your intensity/coverage with distance to the canopy.

Sorry that I could not be more helpful. I am sure someone here with more experience running their setup like you intend to will chime in with much more sound advice.

Cheers,
Will

Mr.Gonzales,
Thank you for the link. That thread is fantastic. I completely missed it. If I had not been poking my nose into this thread and had you not come along it could have been months before I found it.

A side note, that Marl Rep never replied to my emails. I chased him a few times but nothing I am afraid, sorry Mate.

Cheers,
Will

Then use 80 degree lenses. They fit over ideal holders just fine and will focus your light in ideal fashion for those dimension.

I know, because that's what I'm using and I'm very happy with their performance.

How reflective is your grow space? I have 3590 cd @ 72 v @ 700. 15" is too close for most of my plants. the thinner leafed ladies fare better than the indicas at tighter clearance.

I latched on to greengenes advice i.e. hang lights high in a highly reflective space. It was a brilliant move in my set up which is highly reflective very high ppfd
