Let It Always Sow A Seed Of Memory

When you have some great genetics, it is only fair to set up a new journal. So for now I have 7 seedlings in a soil mix. 6 are granny skunk x mystery box. They are regs so I'll be watching for signs of sex in a month or so. They are testers sent to me by Synergy Genetics and are going to be updated in Jedi's Junkyard on Chucker's Paradise.

I also have 1 freebie White Widow going from my Seedman order. I took the advice of the people helping me and decided to pop one of those first so if it goes wrong I'm not too disappointed.

So all 7 germinated within 3 days. Most within 2. I had 2 hold outs that wanted to stay in the dark for an extra day. They are in solo cup sized pots I washed to re-use from previous gardening. They are under a 30W seedling LED and capped with clear solo cups to keep their humidity up in this fragile state. They are being lightly misted for watering until they develop a root system strong enough to handle a full tilt water.

A couple are still shedding their shells but pretty much all of them have their first set of true leaves as of this afternoon.

I should also note i made a soil for this purpose. Perlite, seedling soil, peat moss, and vermiculite. 32 quarts of soil, 16 perlite, 12 vermiculite, and 12 peat moss. Running the Fox Farm Trio for nutes when they reach that stage.

Haven't updated here in a while either. All of the seedlings are now in veg and are producing 5 blade leaves with the exception of one runt. I did have 2 runts but since i transplanted to 2.5qt pots the other has shot up like a rocket.

At transplant I believe most of them experienced some shock, specifically my white Widow. Even though i was supplementing every water with Cal-mag I believe they still somehow had a mag deficiency though it could have been nitrogen. After transplant and feed the yellowing went away but some of the plants looked burnt. Either nute burn or a potash deficiency looking at the WW. I've been keeping an eye on it and I don't believe it is spreading to any of the new growth.

Time to get those updates coming, I’m following along

Okay guys, I've been being lazy. I'll never get this one as packed as it is on my main journal but this is the quick run-through.

Aside from the skunk XL that I'm not even sure I ever posted in here, the plants have been in veg for about 7 weeks. The XL was popped on 1/14 if I'm not mistaken and still needs some veg time. I put all of my others into flower last night. At current count, my pre-sex guesstimation is 2 males and 5 females (not including the XL). 3 of the females are confirmed as they have shown pistils.

My tallest is Josephina and she is my favorite. She has about 12 tops and is nice and sturdy. What do you call child bearing hips for pot plants? She is now sitting at 19" tall.

Since my last update here they have all been transplanted to 1 gallon fabric pots. Once sex is confirmed for the ladies they will go in 5 gallon fabric pots. Just waiting to see who is who. They are also in my new tent that i haven't updated over here. This tent is a 48×24×60. I've currently got them under 2 300W reflector LED blurples.

Things are looking really good. You’ve already got me beat in the patience department. I can’t remember the last time I let my plants veg that tall lol

Will all 5 women be going in 5 gallon pots on the 4x2? That may become more than a lil crowded after you flip

I'm debating. I may keep the widow in a 1 gallon and the GSK in to the 5s. I really want them to bloom big. But yeah, it is gonna be a tight fit for sure. I didn't mean to let them veg that long. I've been waiting on more lights to get here but I couldn't wait much longer so i said fuck it and flipped them.

Agreed, I was gonna say something along the same lines. Transplant out of a fabric pot isn’t a whole lotta fun. I’d run them in what they’re in personally. They looking really good and healthy!

I may do that if they are all 5 girls. I can't fit that many 5 gallon plants in there. They'll explode. And i just had some great beans sent to me I want to run and be sure i have room for in a larger pot as well in about 6 weeks.

Flip date for these babies was the 8th. Culled my first male yesterday as well. Pulled them all out to do some trimming and watering. I still think one more is a male. Here is a picture of #6 Kelly Anne before he was unsuspectingly cut into pieces and put in a tub. I shall call it his obit photo.

The plants are super healthy. I've been walking a real fine line of over feeding so I've cut back to prevent nute burn and to try to get rid of the claw affecting one of my plants. They're so green and lush I doubt skipping a few feedings will do much harm. I have to go to flower nutes in a week or so anyway so only organic supplements until then if they need feed.

I ended up trimming off quite a bit. Crazy how much came off of them and they still look like that ^. This is bowl 1. I still had another bowl of trim plus a couple 20oz clear cups. 20200211_181134.jpg
I'm still fighting the humidity issue. I spent hours watering and letting them sit out to reduce the issue. Swapped to draining pans then let them kick it in the bathtub. Set em on a fucking towel for god sake and yet I still can't win. I ordered a new inline fan hoping it will help.
