Let them stretch?

These babies are completing their 4th week in coco under 18x6. They are stacking nodes quite nicely but I'm debating whether I'd benefit from raising the light and letting them stretch a bit before the flip or keep them low and tight?IMG_20210125_154243.jpg

I say low and tight, they will stretch when blooming and probably as they get older. A bit of stretch may be good for easier LST or what have you. What light do you use?

Do you plan to train them at all before flip?

As of right now you have just one cola that will get sufficient light to grow per plant. Everything below that cola will suffer and be tiny.

If that's your style then I would not move the light and just flip.

You should let the plant be more open, you have lots of nodes but not much branching and the leaves have clumped together shading everything below.

I am using a strip build from Pacific Light Concepts. 640W LED currently at 12". I'm not planning to train much other than some defoliation as I'm doing a small phenohunt with the seeds I have and want to see how they grow unadulterated. Suggestions definitely welcome as this is my 2nd grow.
