I'm a huge hockey fan...been playing since i was 4.

I'm also a huge Detroit Red Wings fan. (starts chanting) Here we go red wings, here we go!!!!

Anyway...it's playoff season...round 2 for the wings. Was just wondering if their were any other hockey/Wings fans.

What do you guys think of the playoffs so far???

If the Wings don't take it...i want the canadians to take it. I'm a Kovalev fan...haha.

I don't mind man!! Not at all...as long as you like hockey, we'll be fine. Like i said, i'm a die hard wings fan...but i'm not going to be mad cuz you're cheering for the sharks...aw hell now.
Hopefully the wings pick it up...they waited till the 2nd to do it last game...

No my back is too screwed up....My lil bro plays goalie on a SF rec league team tho. I like the game tho, specially the Olympics...AWESOME!! Playoff hockey is cool too...Should be a helluva game tonight. Sharks almost lost it after those 3 1st period goals last game...

Maybe one of you true hockey fans can help me out.... During a face off...how come sometimes a player will leave the circle and another will take his place?

Yeah...centers will get thrown out for jumping the gun...they usually get one warning...and then they get thrown out of the circle.

haha...icing is when someone shoots the puck all the way down the ice...if they're not across the neutral central line.

Offsides...i had the hardest time with when i was little..haha.
When you're going into the offensive zone...the puck has to cross the blue line before ANY of the attackers do...

Hope that made sense..haha.

thanks g00s....it makes perfect sense, I just can't see it when it happens, lol...I'm like, offside, ok... if they say so. I'll say one thing, hockey is a LOT easier to follow since I got a high def TV. Hell, even curling is cool in HD.

We only get like 12 channels...so i have to watch all the games online..lol
