when a seed is in the ground it finds the least resistant way to go which is out the top since its not packed all down like the ground and yea if you put a light at the bottom it will go towards the light try it noob

so how do you suppose a branch left sideways in a bucket of water in the dark for the weekend while i was gone and when i came back all of the shots were pointing up? I can do it again and you can see for yourself if your broke ass can't afford a branch.

if it was a bucket of water, it was floating, and like i said b4 it will go the way it meets the least resistance which is not down into water! think b4 you type!

nobody knows but you =)

and you do not submerge the plant under water, theres no light involve actually i didn't mean a branch, im talking about to top part of the plant, i chop it to make space and i place it sideways so why does it grow upward where there is no light?

yet again if its lying down on a table it would have to push it self up to grow downward and this is that last time im gonna say it IT GROWS THE LEAST RESISTANT WAY! please pay attention so i dont have to type the same thing over and over

and now back to the debate, so wouldn't growing with gravity the least resistance? I dont get it so if i put sand above and soil at the bottom where the soil is more loosen so thats least resistant it would grow downward?

when a plant germinates it get little tiny starch cells and there heavy the heaviest thing in the plant they travel to the bottom of the plant where the roots will be but untill it has a leaf uve seen it they kind of just sprawl out the starch is all over then but when the leaf comes out they go to the opposite end the leaf is picked the leaf is decided at the end with the least amount of stress which is the lightest end thats what i was taught ive never tried to trick a plant with sand! lol but i asume it would keep growing untill it comes out but if the sand is too heavy it'll just turn it into plant food
