Light burned tip of bud..now what?? *PIC*

I had my HPS about 4 inches away from this side branch (learned my lesson there) and it singed the top of the forming bud. Thankfully, this is the only place it happened, but I was wondering what I should do? Cut it off and basically top the branch? Leave it be?

I fed it a good dose of superthrive today in hopes of starting a healing process, but I don't know how much..if anything.. can be done. Will it just stop growing in that area or what?

Please help?

Top the branch - I had a nug which was half burnt, didn't bother with it coz it was basically a dead lump of plant matter on the branch...

yep just leave it be it will come back.i have burnd many in the past.

sweet, good to hear;
I keep my HPS a few inches away from the tops, i guess i got to stoned last night and forgot to adjust them; i checked them this morning right after the lights came on ( 15 minutes) and it was so close to touching the bulb, it felt a little crisp, but didnt break in my hand. So im assuming it just needs some TLC and time;

hang a fan a light level to blow the heat away from the tops of your plant to prevent that from happening.

Leave it be let it grow out it may not but by cutting it off it will put the plant through alot of stress.
