Light rail capacity???

ok I want to get a Light mover/rail, My reflector weighs 50#. I am reading on light rails and they say they are good for reflectors upto 50#... will they really move my 50# reflector, or do I have to buy two of them for 1 refletor?

Anybody have a big aircooled hood on a light mover?

You sure it weighs 50lbs? Thats ridiculous for 1 reflector, what the hell is it?
we use magnum xxxls on lightrail 3.5s and they have worked flawlessly for a few years now. It's all about proper balance, done correctly should last for years.

Guess those raptors are a lot heavier than I had thought! The magnums we use are around 40lbs. And they work fine. I'd imagine if you balance them properly you should be good to go with a single 3.5.
Give it a whirl and just pay close attention to the balance.

I am going to go with the light rail 3.5 , Does that come with a 6' track?

I found this on the raptor, witch is why i was wondering about useing a 50# light rail, plus the weght of the bulb
