Ok fellas I have a cream Mandarin(fast fem)it's been going for 6 weeks now and around 10 inches tall very bushy I'm wondering at what week to flip these to 12/12?....thanx

So u usually wait til your plants reach ssay 15 inches then flip the light?.....I'm a little worried that a photo is only 10 inches tall at 6 weeks ..this is my first photo period so not sure....also any ideas why my auto flowers are smelling like grass drying out?....I don't think I'll grow after tgis if my herb will be grassy smelling lol

Alot of times if its dried to fast it will get that grass smell. Or not cured right. The longer you take to dry it. And linger you cure it. The better. Patients is key.

Perhaps the answer is in how much space and light you have? Once you add stretch in and scrogging assuming you’re doing that? And then again if you need the weed sooner ???

It's a 36*36*72 rent 900 watt LED total light not really needing the herb as much as I just want some good heavy quality buds just 1 photo and some autos so not sure I need to scrogg?....plant is 9 inches at 6 weeks old little worried shouldn't it be bigger by now?....first photoperiod so idk

Are all your numbers good? Good ventilation and everything? Some autos are super small plants and lend themselves better to SOG. Guys I know that grow them usually grow them in clusters and cover the whole area in them. They can produce a surprising amount of bud in under 24 inches of height. Myself, in a small room like that I would grow 1 plant in a reasonable sized pot, and manifold it under a scrog. You would probably get better yield that way. Take some cuttings and keep them happy under cfl or something outside you tent

Ya think I wld get a better yeild off 1 photo vs room full of autos?.....also do u have any insight to the photo I have now as when to flip the lights?...the short height of the photo is kinda scary at 9 inches for 6 weeks of growth

Have a box fan in there just started the inline exhaust but usually keep door open so not sure I need the exhaust fan.... tempature about 78 usually gets chilly at night 60s humidity is all over the place 30s to 60s ....

Yeah you probably would because the canopy would be more consistent. With a multi story canopy like that you have some plants farther away from the light than others. That can also impact yield and quality. What I would suggest is a non auto plant. Sex it, clone it and manipulate it to give you a nice spread across the entire tent. Keep the canopy even and do proper clean up around the bottom of useless buds and non illuminated leafy material. The hard part for us small timers is keeping mothers and clones for future flowering because of space limitations, it’s why many guys get clones from growers that produce weed they like. But it doesn’t take much to keep clones alive.

depending on humidity and temp, around 10 days? it should feel semi squishy with any sugar leaves being dry but not crispy. When you jar it the whole idea is to get uniform moisture and burp out the excess. It shouldn't be crispy. If you do it right it shouldn't smell like hay.

Really depends on the strain for yield. Anywhere from 100g to over 300 per plant-I only do a single indoor grow over the winter for my meds so I'm willing to spend some time letting them get bigger.

Then you scrog it or let it grow those colas?
I am really sick of scrog now, I know it yields the best but I am looking for something less time consuming. But I need that colas to get me the same yield as scrog or 10-15% less max. So 150-250 per plant.
