i have a t-5 setup with alternating red/blue 50 watt bulbs, while my seeds are sprouting i was told to go with the blue spectrum, does the red/blue affect the plant any different than an all blue? and what is a good height for the seedlings to sitt away from the light?

the blue spectrum is better for veg but having both is good too u can choose to go with all blue or blue and red. with t5s u wanna put them close to the seedlings a few inches away

What's a T5 setup? Florescent, LED or HID?

As for the spectrum, the more blue, the tighter the internodes.

If a 'T5 Setup' is Florescent or LED, than you can bring it within an inch of the plant.

If HID it could be anywhere from 6'' to 24'' depending on the heat output.

Depends on how tall the plants are dude, I don't see any plants in this pic.

If you got florescent, the closer the better, I put it at inch above your tallest plant.

they are all seedlings, they were sitting alot lower to the ground as reccomended by someone i knew but i was starting to see that they need more light so i moved them there. but i still feel like they should be closer i just dont want to burn the plants

It's really hard to burn plants with florescents!

That being said, if they're still seedlings, then that's probably fine. Wait 2 weeks before you really start to hit them with the nutes and the light.

Good luck!
