Hey, i have a plant about 2 and a half feet tall, its outside in a cornfield right now, i live in canada and its nearing fall (end of august) i know it should be flowering by now but i had somone rob my plants and this is all i got left. Im moving it inside soon and i was wondering which kinda lights are suposed to be used, how far to put them and all that kinda stuff. I was told metal halide light bulbs are more powerful and better than florecent lights but im not sure, im thinking of putting it in a big coffin i use for halloween and ill wrap the inside withtin foil for light reflection i would greatly appreciate your addvice thoughts and ideas! IM SO STONED LOL

Well sir, you have ALOT of lighting options its up to your opinion.

you can go, HID, HPS, CFL, so on.

Myself, I use a Teklight, 4ft, 4 bulb CFL lighting system.

I bought 2 "cool bright" and 2 "daylight" bulbs, giving the awesome lighting for Vegging out and flowering.

if it's just one plant, get some CFLs, they are cheap and run super cool so you dont need a super vent. system.

check out the Growfaq. :P]

cheers

Cfls dont produce as much heat as high pressure sodium or metal halide. I personally just throw a 4 foot shoplight with 2 flourescent bulbs over top. With cfls you can put them along the sides. There are a lot of people who use cfl's all the way thru flowering but i use a hps 150 watt. Hps and mh require some kind of exhaust. Mine is out in the open so i just point my oscillating fan at it. heres a pic of cfl's.

CFL's are the twisty bulbs... you might use some in your house instead of incandescents.
yea you should have at least a decent fan blowing air around the inside.
