Lighting questions??

im just wondering if my plants are close enough to the light the one on the right I think is in veg idk what determines that, and the one on the left I literally just planted and I'm just curious how close to the light they need to be and when I need to up the wattage they are currently under 2 60 watt cfls.

Id say two inches closer on both. And when they get larger you can get even closer. More light is needed eventually. But for getting by your doing just fine for the next weekish. Then get some more light.

Would 150watt bulbs be okay for the next lights???

Oh, and if thats a seed not sprouted yet it doesnt need light. Just heat. Dark is better.

The seed has a tap root that's really long lol

Yes theyd be perfect. More power equals more growth. You just need to find a good equilibrium. More power means you can keep it farther away.

I usually dont get light on them until the seed is above ground and ready to shed the seed coat.
