I have 2 of these LED's and my plants are loving them. They are currently $29.99 each. 20220810_191511.jpg You can daisy chain them so one dimmer controls them both/all

As far as how many plants, it depends on strains, style of grow, and length of veg time.

IME 3 good size flowering plants is all that will comfortably fit in a 4x2, sure you can fit more but will likely run into problems if they aren't managed super well. I use 2 bloomspect LED's on amazon in my 2x4, I use it for veg only so I don't need super strong or top of the line lights. If you are wanting to do a full grow in it I would spring for something a little more powerful/ efficient.

... Opinions on vipar specta s2000? ...
I don't recommend Viparspectra's. I had grown with their Reflector series lights previously but have long since ditched them. They were great for the VEG phase but less than stellar for the BLOOM phase. The finished bud just wasn't very dense.

I have since gone the HLG QB's and Timber COB's for lighting.

Love my spider farm light. No noise, no heat, adjustable, my plants come out sticky icky. Unfortunately I am limited to a 2x4 tent also... I find 1-2 plants to be the most I put in my tent. Use a Scrog net and spread as much coverage as you can.. You could do more plants, but in my grows in my 2x4, my best yields come from less plants and some training.

I'm running a Chilled X3 on my Veg side, and am more than happy with how it has performed. It would fit a 2x4 tent rather well. A little on the pricey side, but my veg plants outperformed my friends who's running an HLG and Mars light in his 2 veg tents. The LED game is way more flooded with lights than the old MH and HPS game, those were all down to different bulbs. Shop around, find what will fit your budget, check the "Best Deals" thread, as some nice lights have popped up that are inexpensive for starting out.
