I was just wandering if anyone knew where i could buy a high pressure sodium system. And how much do they cost. Right now i have a cfl indoor system with only one plant. I am still in the learning stage thats why I only have one right now. but when i get ready to try to flower it I want the better quality buds. OR is it even worth it since im still in the learning stage. thanks for any info

Ebay is always good. And it's never too soon to pick up a good light, whether you use it on this grow or not.

you could spend two or three times that and easily get a light that will work for several plants, should you decide to add more. 70W HPS is stretching it even for one plant.

Thanks for the reply Ravioli. where did you get your avatar?

Somewhere on the net. Google is a wonderful thing.

The rewiring is easy. It should have three wires, green, black, white. And if you want to connect it to an extension cord the same rules apply. Some guys explains it right here, since im lazy and don't want to type it all out.

"Alternating current switches polarity 60 times per second. It doesn't matter whether you connect the black (or white) wire to either of the two outside wires on your cord. Just be sure to connect the ground (green) wires together and everything will be good to go. Oh yeah, be sure to insulate the connections. I prefer wirenuts, but electrical tape would be okay if you're sure to wrap all exposed wires and prevent them from touching each other."
