lights and root questions

So power went off while I was outta town and plants were on 24/7 light but were in darkness for between 9-12hrs after which I put them on 18/6. Could they have hermied or started the flowering stage from that? Also does the plants root system keep developing in the flowering stage or does it stop once switched over?

Not sure about roots but the light thing shouldn't be a problem. Go ahead and hit them with 24 again
