I know I know, stop cocking up lights on/off but I did. I have 4 x Girl Scout Cookie Extreme in week 5 of flowering growing in soil and yesterday morning I forgot to turn my 400w HPS light off so my girls got 24hrs straight of light. Only noticed when I went to turn them on lastnight and realised my mistake so in a panic I switched them off thinking I will just give them 24hrs dark to get them back on schedule. My issue is they are on a 12/12 schedule coming on at 9pm and off at 9am so is 24hrs dark now the right thing to do as it will mean that they got 24hrs light followed by 24hrs dark but will at least be back in track ?
Lights left on for 24hrs week 5 flowering, what do i do ?

Buy a timer.
Keep it dark until your scheduled time and hope for the best.

Yeah that's what I plan so keeping my fingers crossed and will be keeping a close eye on them for any hermmies. I had a timer but think i need a better one as I don't really trust it which is why I do it manually at the moment, so annoyed with myself as I checked them when I should have turned them off but work distracted me and before I knew it I had forgotten lights off, what a noob error

I left mine on for nearly 3 days during mid flower last grow.
the plants just thought they had a massively long day lol.
I’d put my timer to constant to do work in my room without worrying about knocking the timer.
then forgot to switch it back to timed lol.
they didn’t seem to mind
