There are too many variables here to even attempt to give a single definitive answer. Here are a few observations that may help you find your answer.

* Under usual conditions a 1000W bulb should cover a space of 8 x 8 feet.
* You cannot cover the entire floor space with pots. You will need room to maneuver within the room for watering, etc. Leave yourself some space to work in.
* A crude estimation of 4 square feet per plant is a fair guesstimate for flowering plants.
* I find I need 4 times the floor space for flowering (in a separate room) as I do for a perpetual veg/grow.
* A room of single cola plants takes up considerably less space than plants that you top or FIM.
* A space that large can take a lot of wattage. Make sure your wiring can carry the load.
* Probably most important - will the room be dedicated to every plant being the same age. In other words do you plan on vegging the whole room then going to 12/12 to flower the whole room.
* That leads to the possibility of hanging blankets, etc., to make your space consistent with multi-usage in the same time frame.

So you have a lot of decisions to make before running out and buying your ballasts, bulbs, etc. Keep a journal and get back to us with your results. By sharing your experiences you can help the new guys with the same questions you have now.

Gopod luck, BigSteve.
