So this is my first grow, and i have 6 plants, 4 are bag seed (great weed tho) and the other 2 are bought seeds. The bag seed ones (that are in the pics) are 3 months old and i was tryn to wait till i could tell the sex to switch to 12/12 cycle and i wanted them to get as big as they could b4 hand. So the questions are, judging by the pics do my plants look healthy and ready for 12/12, also i cant tell their sex and unfortunatly im thinkn prob male (presimist) bcuz i can see a little strand between the V of the branches but it doesnt look all that white, also i dont see any sacks but there is some bulging at the joints of the Vs, i hope this is legible and thankx in advance

(P.S. i got a little burning on a few leafs is it cools just to cut the slighly burnt part off?)

3 months they should be as big as a 55 gallon drum....at least. but you already know that. i think we are trying to say more light....way more light. then give them 2 or 3 wekks until they start blowing up with new growth and then switch to 12/12. if you flower them with your current light configuration i doubt very seriously if you will get an ounce total from all the plants. if you follow intructions i just gave, more like a half pound. make sure you wait for the new growth to kick in before flower. other than that your plants look very healthy.

hmmm... over watering with nut lock stunted the piss out of em is the only thing i can think of.. give us more info.. what soil, nutrients, watering schedule, distance of lights, im using 200 watts of flouresents and 200 of cfl and if you look mine are hella big after 1 1/2 months veg 3 weeks flowering.. i cant really tell anything about male female on your plants because i cant see the inner branching.. but hey youll see nuts and then its up to you what to do... hack or cut off the sacks to make your own seeds later?> ...
if your using soil with prenutrients your gonna get nut lock and stunting from overwatering.. the last pic looks alittle over watered based on all mine that i over waterd but that is tough to compensate.. transplant with regular soil or foxfarm and add MJ specific nutrients... youll be glad in yield im sure! and hey they look ok to me pretty healthy and not the worst dying plants.. there actually pretty nice keep em going and flower soon they will get 2 times the size after flowering go for it..

dude,,those plants looks healthy but tiny,,,i have plants growing 3 weeks bigger then those babies,,either not enough light,,not close enough,or not good growing conditions in your place.its not possible for something to be vegged for 2 monthd and be that small

well i recently 2 weeks ago, moved the lights right on top of the plants basically, at the advice of someone from this board, they were about 2 feet away for the majority of the time...like i said they're more like 2 months old, i made a mistake wen i said 3, also as soon as i moved the lights closer i could see the plants begin to almost compact, and yes i did overwater, i recently learned i was using too much and im watering the right way now. i used shultz premium indoor soil, i tested the PH and they were all between 5.5 and 6.5

and i don't know if the pics are deceiving, but they're all about a foot tall and the biggest one is 14 inches

dude mine were under low watt cfls while 2 month veggin, and they were twice as big and twice as more foilage as urs if not more... something is really wrong floyds right

are you sure u have a HPS??? not a floodlight or something like that? those r a lot stretched, that shouldnt happen under hps.. i still think there something wrong in lighting

Everyone is flipping out on how small they are because there really must be something seriously wrong. Your plants are only a fraction of the size they should be, and it's not just pot size holding them back.

How close are those lights to the plants? See any bugs flying around like gnats? How often do you water, and do you use any fertilizer, and what kind of soil is that?

Whatever is wrong needs to be fixed before starting flowering.

agree with omeds. you gotta get the lighting right before flowering or yu wont get crap for buds. they will be way tiny with no meat on their bones. afro showed some pics of how they should look. they should be the size of a nice outdoor planting shrub. with you cfls they should be almost touching the leaves. if you notice some burning back off just a bit. for the hid lgts tak a thermoeter and put it just under the canopy. keep moving the light in until you maintain about 80 degrees at the plant
