That sounds like dolomite, with the Mag in there.
That stuff will work just fine.
The difference is, lime is just ground up limestone and dolomitic limestone is just one of several used. Garden lime, or lawn lime are sometimes from other limestones that have very little to no Mag in them and are mainly Calcium. They will all work.
