Limoncello Tincture

I'm on the hunt for a chemistry guru, one who can give experience or knowledge on the reactivity of the citric acid among other things found in lemons with the cannabinoids found in my everclear tincture. My plan is to use 750 mL of said tincture in the making of limoncello. which is essentially the same thing I did to make the tincture. So my only real concern is ending up with a subpar batch of limoncello that doesn't get me high anymore. Surely there's a dozen chemistry professors on here just waiting to drop some knowledge bombs.

So many views so few replies, perhaps my parameters were too extreme. In any event, I have a small test batch cooking up now and will share my results. If any readers have experience with citrus and extracts please feel free to drop a line or two, I always open to suggestions.

This stuff is for real, the best tasting edible with the fastest onset I have had so far. For real, tastes like lemon drop candy, and comes on after only 15 minutes. I'm having some sedimentation issues, but I think that it's just pulp and that I can filter it out with several layers of dampened cheese cloth. But, I'm not that worried about it to be honest. This really should be a go-to for those that cannot smoke. And I would assume that any citrus can be used; clementines, meyers, blood orange, etc...

Hey man, I saw this tread and thought I would chime in. I have been making lemon extract/Limoncello tincture for about 10 years now. And I make it two ways. I first started out with buying the extract from the store and pretty much making a green dragon tincture with it. Then I evolved it into what I make today which is Limoncello or Orangecello. I have a magic butter equivalent machine. I peel the lemons or oranges (5 to be exact). Add the peels to the machine and then add about a cup and a quarter of high proof alcohol. With an addition of a cup and and a quarter of sugar. You can add a little lemon juice or orange juice if you want but you don't have too.

Now you can add your bud or later its up to you. What I like to do is to blanch my buds (gets rid of the taste so I'm just tasting the Limoncello flavor), dry/decarb them and add them to the mix for a bigger batch, or you can do it with small patches later. Once its done you can add a cup or two of water (maybe more) to make it taster. Put it in the freezer and enjoy. Hope this helps!

This is a great recipe for just Limoncello by the way.
