Bucket of the hottest tap water you can get from your sink and let the jar soak, then do it again after a half hour, by then it should be about the consistency of syrup or a little thicker, zero out a beaker or something similar on a scale and pour in however many grams you were wanting to cook with. I imagine that you're going to make cookies or something? So put the butter or coconut oil in the beaker and heat it up and mix the distillate in real good, usually a small pot with some water in it on a low burner works good then you can just place your beaker in the water, don't use too much water you don't want the beaker to float.
