Little White Bugs In Soil!

Right after i water these little white bugs show up they crawl slow i have murder a couple of them they crawl slow and are always in the soil not on the plant im useing organic soil they dont look like they have any wings but i didnt see them up closely
any idea? i live in a desert

and anyone know any bug killer that wont poison my plant or me

or root aphids..baby ones maybe?

u can water with a type of neem oil..like azamax.

thanks guys im gonna get some insect soap and murder these fuckers.
but i also heard they can be a insect that lives off the crap in the soil and good for ur plant but im not taking chances

this are root aphids. i am fighting against them right now with AZAMAX still no results but it seems the population has not grew.

Azamax has always worked for me with root aphids. I mix 2 tablespoons per gallons and water each plant until runoff so I get a full drench. I mix with water only and don't use nutes with the azamax. One good drench at 2tbsp/gal has always worked for me with no need for a second application.

On another note, I have always seen root aphids near the bottoms of the pots or rockwool cubes on the lower roots. I have never had them show up on my top soil. Azamax is useful for lots of pests though so a good drench can't hurt and might solve your problem.

Make sure their not springtails, these are harmless to plants and benificial to soil, dont think you can kill springtails with out killing all soil life in the process.

Sounds different though, springtails are fast moving and hop when frightened as well as being so small they are hardly noticable. Im guessing springtails but look this up to be sure of identification. If they jump about the place leave them be, good stuff.

mighty wash for root aphids. drench every few days. i did one drench at week 5 and havent seen a flyer since, now at week 8 and ready to harvest some dense buds. harvest will be low, but still happy with it....better than last time i had RAs

then get some met 52 fungus for control.

Im just wondering if any1 can help me I've got a small recirculating hydroponic system and there's some small, White, lice like bugs on the top of the reservoir and in the brain box could any1 tell me what they r as I can't find anything on the net, they r fast moving tho so could they b these springtails

if they are tiny tiny tiny like a spec of dust and u need a mag to actually see that there a bug and not a moving white dust particle.. which those would be root aphids.. and they kill shit fast..

others wen u water u will see them float up .. and then back on to soil and they just jump all over the place and eat decaying shit.. and in return shit out nitrogen.. ... basicly.. shows ur soil is healthy.. .

i was told.. friend of mine has them .. and he doesnt know he has em.. he just spreads them to everyone wen he gives them cutings or his mothers..

Insect Frass, if you want to go organic. Can mix it in a tea, or use by itself to water. better if used early or before an infestation.

I used to have little tiny critters in my soil too and when I would water them they would start hopping around like mexican jumping beans
I believe they were white fly larva. They can eat roots but their not that big of a problem aslong as its not a crazy infestation.
I alternate with neem oil and spinosad once a week through the veg period and all my insect problems stopped. Cleanlyness is the best method tho.
"Mosquito dunks" can also come in hand for killing larva in the soil and white fly outbreaks. You can buy them at HomeDepot.
