"I can't get no satisfaction" from a 70 yr old comes across as laxative failure instead of the intended insatiability of a 20 something. But more power to them, I guess, and the people that want to see it. Very, very few age gracefully in r & r.
Not many age as graceful as Bob Weir. I guess playing a show practically every night will keep you young.

I hadn't heard that. Makes me kinda sad...a part of me hoped they'd be able to tour forever.
I think I got that wrong. It was KISS that's doing their final tour. But this is supposed to be their biggest production they've ever done.

Iron Maiden Map Out 2019 Legacy of the Beast Tour

Band’s “biggest production yet” to feature “very strong and well balanced set mixing songs we haven’t played in many years”

Bassist Steve Harris added that each show would feature “a very strong and well balanced set mixing songs we haven’t played in many years like ‘Flight Of Icarus,’ ‘Sign Of The Cross’ and ‘The Clansman’ with songs we know the fans want to hear like ‘The Trooper,’ ‘2 Minutes To Midnight,’ ‘The Number Of The Beast,’ ‘Fear Of The Dark,’ ‘Run To The Hills,’ ‘Hallowed Be Thy Name’ and others.”

Ahh, I see. So...how many farewell tours is this for KISS...3?4?

All joking aside, I can't see Maiden doing these huge tours for many more years. I'll just be happy to see them as many times as I can manage before they call it a day.
