How can you find out information about property like who owns it? is it for sale? etc etc

Also ive scouted a few areas that are perfect inbetween highways (cant see them from highway, water source, enough room, and perfect foilage coverage but not enough to block light) is there any way to find out if jails or ppl on probabtion w/e do the highway cleanups where they walk threw?

Contact your local DNR,for hunting purposes they supply maps of all state owned land.

They can be quite helpfull without even knowing it .

Great advice panhead, I would also think growing near a highway wouldn't be a good idea. depending on how close it is, maintenance crews probably would notice a grow site. i would keep it away from public areas. Try to find a nice spot in the woods or on the tree edge.

Just get a plat book of the county. It has all the tracks of land marked off and who specifically owns each tract. They usually have them at the Farm Buerau Office or at the County Courthouse

I know for my city I can look it up online. Through the county's website. Shows all the zoning and stuff too..

a guy got busted near me growing 100 plants on the side of the highway there was water near the spot and a fisherman saw the crop and called the cops.

Who the hell would call the cops???

Did you know smoking takes years off your life. Yeah but it takes years off the end of your life and those years suck anyways.

A real jerk. But then again, who the hell would plant 100 plants on the side of a freakin' highway? That's just asking for it.
