LolliPoPPiNg?

Well I was ready and some wanted to cut the lower branches of their plant to make the plant hocus on the main spots and someone said this is called "Lollipopping" and is done in preflowering.

Well, I have almost a 6ft plant which is a hermie and its very cold here but weather is kinda good this week hopefully but has survivid one frost

so my question is: should I cut the lower branches off? and how many ?

theres very little nugs which have purple tint but they are super little
