I read a lot. Im looking to store over a year. I have a deep freeze and vac sealed 2zs at a time. I placed 600cc of oxygen absorber. I didn't let the vac go super tight, just to where it started to crunch. Im hoping oxygen absorber will help the rest.

Will this work not letting it go 100%

Vacuum sealing always gives me dry crunchy stuff. In the cure jar or loose in gallon ziplocks stood pright in a box always thaw nice after a few. But honestly a year is just getting really good cure taste here. Don't freeze under a year. My thing.

If I were to freeze flower to smoke later I would definitely make sure it's good and dry first. If there is moisture in the cells (trichomes are composed of cells) and ice crystals form they "pop" the cell walls. In the case of trichomes I find this leads to faster oxidation of the trichome contents thus turning them amber. So if you are going to freeze your flower, make sure it's good and dry first, like crispy dry.

I personally don't like the idea of vacuum sealing flower either because the vacuum can cause terpenes to "boil off" at room temp of course a freezer would seem to mitigate this.

I honestly think the best way to store flower for long term is using nitrogen as it's inert and heat sealed mylar bags (light is bad), refrigerated but not frozen.

Your right with nitrogen they have containers too. I have nitrogen and a tank already I'm not using defuser and all. I just need bags thank you very much!
