RKS is more of an Internet legend than an actual strain. Don’t know who has Soma’s NYCD in the US. But, Connoisseur Genetics use Soma’s NYCD cut in a couple of crosses and he has the Original Diesel in s1 and crossed to the Chem D, SSSDH and a few others. Just send him an email for his list, there is more than what is on his homepage.
What’s the deal w this SSSDH. Anyone have experience w that strain or the seeds from Connoisseur Genetics. I’d love it if that strain was close to the original NYC diesel I grew up with! Just now getting into locating strains and learning about the original crosses etc. thanks man

Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze is originally a Reservoir Seeds release of Super Silver Haze x Sour Diesel. Supposedly some fire in those genes, regs are from the cup winning cut crossed to male select from the original release. I have no experience with it myself, but if you are after the Original Diesel then Connoiseur Genetics has S1’s of that cut also.

Send him an email and ask for his list, and any questions you have you can ask him direct. Email is on his webpage.

Authentic genetics grew out/released the RKS the dude in Alaska named heime had and said that while they believed it to be authentic it didn’t smell as strong as they remembered. Sold out what they released pretty quickly still.

anyone have experience with shoreline generics? They’ve got a back cross of shoreline and I’ve heard that the strain is very skunky.

Dont be a fucking idiot. If your not 15 years old right now you have smoked stank skunks. Thats all they used to be in N. Cal late 1990s. Everyone would judge how good it was by how much it fucking stank and looked dank second. You walk in tripple bagged boom blowing out nostrils people already thought it was beyond fire. That was after the Mex all the time. The skunk round came in. Whoever says they had "the strain" can suck my dick. Humbolt mendo everyone had the stank skunk that shit was in every fucking clone. Then everyone was like why am I advertising this 2 blocks down the street with the smell and getting neighors fucking pissed ect. So then it went into the fruity lesss skunk smelling shit. Now we are back looking for the stank. Its gone. There are a few hippies in the triangle that still have that shit im sure. But for most part no1 wants the fucking stank smell growing out their house.

I’m just looking for the weed I smoked when I was a kid, lol. It was all skunk until white widow showed up, but when purple kush got out EVERYONE tossed their genetics/cuts and went in that direction.

I can't have these shipped to me in the usa but I would buy them in a second if I knew I could have a "red roadkill" Kandahar landrace.

I hope one of you snag the last pack and give a grow report!

I've grown a few Kandahar hybrids, apparently Afghan landraces were the source of most of the funky/sulfuric rotting smelling smells in old skunks, shanti even says you can recreate the smells by selecting from his old Afghan lines, but that's just an anecdote, I personally would look for landraces that are true breeding, which Indian Landrace Exchange offers.

Nope, I've looked this last week and had the same discovery with mandala. I just bought some Lt. Dan because its 50% Dank Commander(very foul smelling) and had seen these, they look very promising

"
RED SELECTION

The Red selection from Maruf, Kandahar expresses exceptional resin production accompanied by very dense and chunky buds, which primarily reek of dead animal (Rotting protein) smell. The offensive smells such as ones emanating from rotting flesh could be smelled profusely on the Red selection, while also accompanied with hints of phenol and eastern spice pallet.

Kandahar Red Selection, features a robust and upright structure, with good side branching, complemented with beautiful flush hues of reds on the leaves with a lime green stem. The buds are tight/dense and chunky loaded with offensive smelling resin which is absolutely unique on it’s own even though most of the plants in this population do carry smells which aren’t sweet but to experience a smell so offensive foul on a cannabis plant was extremely rare even amongst a gene pool full of foul smelling plants."

i definitely think if someone had the space/time the smartest thing to do would be to pheno hunt Afghan landraces, start back at the beginning. The balkhi strains seem to have what everyone is after if you find the right plant.
a lot of people were popping packs of uncle festers skunk last year but I never heard anyone saying they found what they were looking for. Saw a guy on Instagram saying out of all the different breeders/stains he’s tried their (naturefarm) corpse flower was the closest they had found.

If you guys do find some crazy shit lmk. Best thing to do would be to head to the red woods area in Cali and talk to the locals about skunks those hippies got everything somewhere I’m sure
