This current grow I messed up somewhere. I did the "less is more" with watering and feeding in the sense of amounts; too much of too little? Plus that 5 day period memorial weekend when I came back and them babies were DRY! :wall:. I fed nitrogen Thursday, and the Lions Pride(2- 5.5- 5.5) has some N, and had been feed in 1/3-1/2 doses every week instead a full dose every 2-3 weeks. So I thought giving a ~1/2 dose of (5-1-1) would be plenty to slow the leaf decay. Pretty soon I'll only have sugar leaves!

I'm a bit at a loss. My noggin keeps saying flush and just do a healthy normal dose of Lion's Pride, Which according to the bag is decent stuff. What do you guys think?

I do rotate them sometimes, sorry as I know that makes it harder to compare pic to pic. I did raise my lights another 3 inches or so, as I believe those crispy upcurled tips on the taller left girl is due to light burn. Just a lot of degradation over 2-3 weeks. A bit disappointed in myself.

Thinking 1/2 dose Fish emulsion for quick Nitrogen avilability, and a full dose of Lion's Pride(2- 5.5- 5.5). I'm guessing 3-4 weeks left. What would you do? I do no have a way to test pH at the moment, I generally only worry about that when growth has stalled, which the buds are growing...just losing all my fan leaves, which based on the yellowing and hanging on I attribute to nitrogen . All opinions welcome!

My guess is that pH is borderline low since you're recycling the soil without adding any new lime to buffer pH between runs and you're adding two flower foods on top of each other with excess phosphorous that will lower pH even further. Peat based soil like Pro-mix? Peat gets more acidic as it ages and decompose(peats natural pH of 3.0-4.0).

With your approach I would run the Epsoma biotone Starter mix from start to finish with some added Epsom salt to better the Ca:Mg ratio and up the sulfur content. Fish emulsion is great to add in low doses for the added trace minerals. Maybe add some gypsum between runs for the slow release of Calcium and raising the pH.

Cannabis needs low to moderate levels of P and moderate levels of K in early to mid flower and slightly lower K in late flower.

Hope that helps!

Cheers!

I would never imagine the plant would grow well without focused P&K nutes added. But I've read of folks doing 10-10-10 amendments with great success. Also for the recycled soil I should add that i flush the hell out of the soil before adding it back to my tote of dirt. Chop/cut up all the leaves and small stems into the dirt, then let epsoma bake into it for 2-4 weeks depending on how patient i am. By this point, also sifting and mixing the tote every 5 days or so, all the plant matter excluding the odd stem is broken down and has become one with the dirt.

I suppose I will test the lot after this grow to see where she's at. I'd heard that peat moss was acidic, but that peat moss now is almost 2 years old, in combination with the other soil that I've added and then of course just biodegradable stuffs. I kind of figured it wouldn't really be having an effect anymore LOL in the sense of acidity. But I'll keep in mind what you've mentioned; was unaware of adding lime but make sense since all nutes seem to acidify the soil. Thanks!

The bottom leaves are yellowing and it's spreading up the plant. It looks like a nitrogen deficiency to me. It's 100 percent a nitrogen deficiency if you ask me. I'm pretty sure plants need more nitrogen at the start of flower too. And I think you vegged them a bit fast, you probably should have vegged them longer to fill the tent and increase your yield.

I normally water with about 45-48oz water each. I didnt do a 3x pot capacity like some flush guides say. That'd be 9 gallons of water through each which sounds insane to me, I wanted to dilute, but not completely remove everything. I did run about a gallon through each yesterday at 3pm, which had plenty of run off. Didn't add any nutes. See what they look like when I get home.

Ah, well the quick veg was on purpose, 3rd week flipped to 12/12. Lease is up July 31st and I wanted to make sure they were in jars in time :blsmoke:. I too like a full tent lol
