To start with I gotta say this site has been an amazing source of knowledge. I’m at page 121 of the Outdoor thread pages and I’ve learnt so much and had all my questions answered.

I am in Melbourne Australia and and have purchased feminised Gorilla Glue #4 seeds. I used the paper towel method to germinate and now have 3 in seed soil waiting to sprout out.

In two or three weeks the strongest will be moved to a 15 gallon grow bag which I have on wheels to follow the sun around my south facing balcony…the two runts I will toss or see if any mates won’t them.EF8A19CD-9337-43B8-983B-0A17F27D9F05.jpeg

I’m about three or four weeks late as I first tried bag seeds but I recon they had polio so I ditched them and ordered the current ones.

I’m a 50 year old bloke who’s been chuffing since sixteen…not so much over the last three years as It became too much hassle to get and cost stupid amounts.

I recon my grow is more of a hobby than a need to use, but I might revisit that thought once I’ve harvested.

It’s all ready been great being here and reading through current and older posts, but I look forward to sharing what I hope will be a five foot, sticky bad arse Glue bitch. Thanks in advance for having me, helping me and watching my first grow.
P.S. I strictly dry vape now…tar free!

Welcome and good luck with the hobby.

Are those tiny mini pots, or a huge ass clip?

Yeah, RIU's really cool, ain't it?

About your set up, I like how people do things, always so innovative.

Say, about your foliage in the background of these pix.
Is that plastic foliage? I want to get some around my
patio area for privacy. Does it last long outside? Does
the sun, wind or snow (if u have snow there) degrade it
or blow it around much? Kind of expensive isn't it? If it
is plastic foliage that is.

The fake foliage made my balcony shadow proof but I love how it looks now. I have 8 x 6 foot frosted glass panels and covered em all for under $400 AUS. Got mine from Amazon and they say “UV protected and will not fade during outdoor use”. If I can get 5 years from them I’ll be happy…they have been my biggest grow expense.

Amazon have stax of different styles but here’s a link to ones similar to what I got -https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QTZJDG9/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B08QTZJDG9&pd_rd_w=AHGC7&content-id=amzn1.sym.46bad5f6-1f0a-4167-9a8b-c8a82fa48a54&pf_rd_p=46bad5f6-1f0a-4167-9a8b-c8a82fa48a54&pf_rd_r=PWFJ49KZNBJ2S741P336&pd_rd_wg=RqFdN&pd_rd_r=71605dbf-e914-47e3-9c96-020ef60f5848&s=kitchen&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWw

Thanks a lot. $400, eh? I could probly do that. I got a heckuva night light prob from the neighbors,
and am trying to figure out how to block the glare of 4 or 5 neighbors whose night lights just blind me.
I was gonna get trees, but arbor vitaes are too short, while the money is way too long, so thanks.
Have yerself a hit on me. :joint:

PS: Oh, i forgot to ask you if that fake foliage blocks night lights, like your neighbors' porch light or
shop lights. Do they?

Blocks heaps of light but not all. There are loads of styles and some have more foliage but obviously cost more. Most come in 20x30cm bits that you connect with supplied pull ties to make any shape you want.
