DTE is a must for making some killer super soil that last all season for the most part, AZOMITE can improve plant and root system growth, crop yields, and quality as well as re-mineralize nutrient depleted soils. Got that from the site but that’s pretty much what’s I use it for,
Azomite is a natural source of calcium silicate, will really give you some sturdy growth. Cannabis and grasses really like that silica.

They are currently in 3gal bags with MG Moisture Control soil, and I give em Cal-Mag+ (my water sucks) And Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow, sometimes Miracle-Gro All Purpose

I’ve literally never checked the ph or even worried about the ph of anything when it comes to growing

I'm loving that North Thunderfuck. Can't wait to see what the buds look like. I'm a sucker for big indica fans. I'd love to dig through your compost heap when you do your defoliation for cuts lol.
I can’t wait to see how the buds are gonna look either so far she’s a very interesting lookin pheno that probably smells the best of everything currently growing

what’s up bro. so my 100 gallon recipe called for 1/2 cup of Azomite. this will be enough silicate for season?

I may be wrong on this, it may be wallastonite that is the source for calcium silicate. I use a non organic type that we carry at the soil company where I work. Seems to make big strong stems. Sorry for any confusion.

I'm with you. If you are growing in a soil media that starts out in the sweet pH area 5.5-6.5 for cannabis
you should not have to worry to much about pH unless your water is very high or low, or you are over nuking
with nutrients. I try to give my babies a good clean water flush every week or two to avoid any salt/nutrient
build up.
With coir or hydro set ups, that may be a whole other deal.

id like to think my ph is okay especially when they’re outside lol I know my water sucks I’ve had problems with it ever since I started growing where I’m currently at. My water causes all kinds of cal-mag problems so for me cal mag is a must have (especially if I do indoor grows) but once they get into their final bags with the super soil I no longer need to keep adding cal mag cause the soil has everything it needs for the plants to thrive

A cubic yard is 27 cf 1 cf is 7.5g 1g is .134 cf
Thanks for the math. I did really well with 3 plants in a 100gal. last year, so probably going to buy more, and now I know roughly how much soil to make. A yard from the bulk store here is two front-loader scoops; Just going to put a tarp in the back of my pickup and fill it 3/4’s to get a yard. Add more just to be sure

I felt bad when I tossed like 30 motorbreath 15 cuts out in the woods to compost from trimming and shaping. I just didn't have anyone to give them to. I wish we had grow shops that could sell or trade cuts. I'd have donated them and a ton of bubba kush cuts to help out some new growers. I'm just not putting an ad up on Facebook marketplace saying free cuts to random folks. Legal or not, my security is still important to me.

Right! Legal or Illegal if I catch someone in my spot they’re gonna become compost sorry not sorry, I worked too hard and spent a lot of money sweat and blood to get where I am just so some non growing punk can try and rip mine…. We are medical here but the dispensary still can’t buy anything from growers but once that changes I do plan on gettin my foot in the door and sell to them, here people are paying 100$ for 8ths like wtf and that’s for bud

That sounds like they’re hooking you up tbh. A skidsteer aka bobcat bucket is around a yrd I believe all the frontend loaders I’ve been around buckets are 2 and up. A yard fits a full size bed w ease. I drive a tacoma 5 ft bed and fit a yard. Its not that much really
