Well, I hope its the girlfriend and not the gangsters lol. I decided not to use the AN nutes, I have the three part flora micro/grow/bloom that came with one of my systems, but since they are for hydro, I decided to go with Espoma Plant-tone which is a 5-3-3 NPK ratio and organic. We'll see what happens...

Hey guys i just got some lemon skunk autooil (chemdog) and i was planning on using fox farm ocean soil, now i have been using foxfarm nutes as my friend told me its much more difficult to burn your plants if you are a beginner. I was wondering what you should add to the ocean soil, perlite? and do you just mix it in the soil? i thought the ocean had perlite already.

Hey man, the Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil is good to go just as it is. You don't have to add anything to it. Not even nutes at first. Don't add it to soil, just use the foxfarm by itself.

I have heard that adding pete moss to it is good because it holds the water better, is this true? also for a closet that needs to be closed at night my humidity sometimes rises to high 70 F. What is the cheapest solution to this being that i cant leave the door open at night cuz of dogs. Carbon fan?

i'm so happy, finally someone i know is going to hook me up with some good smoke, don't know how much, but its $60. can't wait to get it. my brainstorm plant is kind of yellowing somewhat but nothing too drastic, so i'm not going to worry at this point. i'm going to top it after it gets a bit bigger and try a clone. still have to find something to repot it in. i have a new growtent on the way, much wider to allow venting of the 400 w, hopefully it'll be here soon. hoping 1982 comes back soon too.

Hey guys not sure if anyones still posting here but i was wondering what the best, easy and hard to overnute nutrients are. I am currently using fox farm soil and the big bloom, grow big, and tiger bloom . I am using soil.

I used fox farm nutes on my last gro....it was hydro though....i kept the ppm's a bit lower than they say on the chart......they seemed to start drying out real bad and spots and stuff on the leaves.....lowered ppms a bit and it went away.....now im using advaced nutrients and i love them.....AN dont fuck with your ph at all, its real nice and they are getting big!!!!!

By the way, where did everyone go???

I'm using ff big bloom with some root tone (for more Nitrogen) and voodoo juice, seems to be going okay for now. I think the heat's a little high in my grow tent though, not sure because of the radiant heat factor, but it seems to get about 85 with the tent closed at night (can't sleep with it open, too bright). I'll be happy to switch over to 12/12 cause I can keep it open during the day and its not as bad.

Sounds like things are going well, wannabee, i hear ya on the smoke right now though, theres a maor drought in my neck of the woods......just finishing up smoking my first harvest which was only like, an ounce and a half.....but yea, im going into my 3rd week of flower, with 4 plants, white widow..(2)NLxskunk..g13 pure power....the widow is getting huge, i proly got another 6 or 7 weeks till i harvest again....im using the AN sensi 2 part with some bud candy, it seems to be working real good!

Ive been reading a bit and found one key to getting huge buds is the right co2 level, anyone else on here use co2 on here??

oh yes, roll420, think its gonna be okay this time thankfully. I've got a lot more time growing before harvest though, oh well. i've got a question for you. I moved to an area where i don't know many people and i don't go out and socialize much but I'm considering maybe going to a biker bar or something to try to find a connection. Can you think of any other way to hunt something down when you don't know anyone? Anyway, since no one is saying much on here, thought maybe I could change the subject temporarily. let me know what you think. thanks.

I would not reccommend going to a biker....i guess unless your a biker....that is a problem though. Ive never really been in that situation before....i seem to be stuck in the same place i grew up in.. maybe go to a concert or a hippie fest or somethin or go drive around the hood, but that aint real safe.....Just keep growing more and more and more....

is root tone a good idea to add with the 3 part feeding chart for foxfarm? ive been getting some orangeing in the tips and has been happening more and im not sure what to do. I also am doing this in a closet and at night the temp gets up to 89 F sometimes with the door closed but i need to keep it closed cuz of dog. Whats the best way to lower temps in a closed closet.

What I'm using is actually Espoma Bio-Tone Starter Microbial Plant Food which is 3-0-0 NPK. This was the only thing I could find locally when I bought it awhile back. I've since gotten a lot of things online and at the hydro store. I haven't used the three part FF nutes only Big Bloom. so I added the Bio-Tone because Big Bloom is only .1-.3-.7 NPK. The three part series probably has the proper NPK ratios. The Ocean Forest soil has a lot of nutrients in it too. Check out the FAQs or other nutrient information for specific needs.

I just use a rooting gel right when i cut the clones, popem into rockwool cubes, keep the leaves moist and humid/warm....and wait, sometimes it takes a while to get the roots going....

You proly need to get some kind of exhaust fan...do you have any fresh air comming in? I would say 89 degrees is a bit warm..... i keep my space between 77to80...
