Lowryder #2? WTF?

Here's a pic of some Lowryder #2 feminized that I germed on April 25. I planted them outside when they were about two weeks old. 5 out of five seeds sprouted. I planted these for the reasons below:

Outdoor Harvest: 9 weeks from Seed
Height: Short, Medium
Characteristics: Bushy, very early flowering plants with prolific budding

All five are now at 6' or near, and there's no way they're going to be harvested 9 weeks from seed...they're barely flowering now. So WTF??

thats crazy! LR 2 can get pretty big outside if given ample root space but i have never seen that big before. my lr 2 did not grow much more after the first week of flowering so they probably shouldnt grow any taller. you got some kindoff wierd runoff from your roof? just a thought. good luck bro

i've never tried LR#2 but have grown ganja dwarf and LR#1 so based on them they never grow like it says on the tin, i've always switched to 12/12 to get them flowering. my outside shorties always grow bigger than my indoors, it's not a good outdoor growers climate though, not much direct sunlight so i think they stretch for the light. have you had a particularly cloudy season? they look maaassiiiive bro...you'll get more bud for your trouble though. it's a total pain in the ass when they don't grow how they're supposed to though, i agree.

You don't need to know from experience that that probably isn't a LR plant. Lowryders flower atleast 3 weeks in, and unless your plants were given 3 weeks for that growth, good job dude.

I think you may have been mistaken by what I said. I meant it takes around 3 weeks to induce flowering. Not flower in 3 weeks  I haven't personally grown LR YET. I'm receiving my AF Diesel Ryder in a few days. I'll start up a journal though :D

No runoff, but my tomatoes grow like crazy each year in that spot. I'm really kinda ticked off because I'm having a 4th of July party in the back yard where these are. Was hoping to have it all done by the 4th. Got the seeds from Attitude. Hope they're all fems, anyway.

That is a monster!!! Way to gro.
With the diesels, 24/0 for the first 3 weeks then 18/6 the rest of the way thru. You will get some nice 16-18 inch christmas trees!!! I grow them often and have found this the best light schedule. And their smell is unique and wonderful. The buzz is not as strong as NYC Diesel, but still a nice stone. Let them go a bit to the amber side and you will be thrilled.

LR2 grow review and synopsis:

4/24/09 Germed 5 feminized seeds, all sprouted.

5/15/09: Transplanted five plants into sunny and moist location in Midwest soil.

6/20/09: Was surprised the plants are over 6' tall with no signs of flowering. Indica leaves for sure.

6/25/09: Patch getting too obvious. Cut one down and severely topped the others. These could probably grow over 8 feet.

7/14/09: Discovered one male, dispatched it immediately

7/25/09: Three plants left are flowering.

8/24/09: Nice buds have developed with clear trichomes. Quite a nice high, of course all head.

8/30/09: Huge colas are forming at the top and next node branches. Tried some more. This may develop into something. I'd say there will be a min. of 1/2 pound dried from each plant. And I'd say maturity will be in about 30 days, which is about 3 weeks earlier than others breeds I've grown in this latitude. (east central illinois)
