LST advice

Hi guys n' girls,
just wondering......when Lsting a plant should you bother pruning it? I know that certain plants will not produce their best unless pruned. Thanks for the response. Peace.

i have some plants that i am LSTing. and they are getting bushy. i havnt pruned anything, but beware if your doing some massive LST you will need a high wattage light to penetrate the huge canopy.
i am thinking my 400w HPS isnt going to be strong enough so i will have to prune some to open the plant up.
