Hey guys, before i start i want to say that i have NEVER grown photoperiod plants before, ever since i started i went with autos and now i have my first 2 photoperiods.

I have 1 White Widow by Dinafem wich is quite small for a 45 days veg and a Holy Grail 69 by Samsara that is atleast 3 times bigger then the White Widow. They are both in 3 gallon pots.

1. My question is can i start an LST on both of them if they are already 45 days into veg?, cause i plan to veg them for 28 more days before i turn the light cycle to 12/12.

2. In order to grow more i suppose i need to move them to bigger pots so the root can extend and the plant grow's more, in case i don't move them what will happen? The extra vegging has no point then? (I don't have bigger pots, all i have are 3.5gallons plastic pots or those 3 galons smart pots....

This is the White Widow (small as F!)

I do have a couple of autos there with them, planning to put those babies into flower under a scrog when i harvest the autos (about 4 more weeks).

So what do you think guys? Can i do some form of LST on those 2 before i put them into flower and under a scrog and is transplant to a bigger pot necesarry if i plan to veg them more?

If you want to continue growing in veg I guess it is good idea for transplanting them in bigger pots. They will feel better...

Technically you can LST any time in veg... but the longer into veg you are, the woodier your main stem and the tougher to safely train. Besides that, just make sure that after the time it takes to train it and then have some meaningful top growth, your remaining timetable makes it worthwhile.
