Lucas Formula Need Help What Gives

Wait, NPK ratio is Nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium. So your saying theres zero Nitrogen in the lucas formula of 0-5-10, hence where the N would be in NPK? wrong. Its not a NPK ratio, it is a ratio however just not NPK.

no im not saying that, what lucas says is that theres enough N in the micro to not need to add the N to the forumula!
I dont agree and my plant didnt either

Well with a 2-1-6 you tell me
Grow offers the NPK above plus 0.5% magnesium, that's it. I'm just wondering what you think it's contributing to flower if nitrogen isn't the main reason. Maybe your answer will be 'potassium' and to that I would reply 'florabloom offers plenty given the application rate'. I'll also add that excessive potassium can cause a nitrogen deficiency so if you're turning yellow in flower, 'supplying too little nitrogen' isn't always the culprit.

K is important in seedling and root development.

I believe that all 3 parts should be used in conjuction for maximum results.

So I take it you're talking about using grow in veg, which is where it was intended to be used. I thought we were talking about flowering as that's the important part and 'hard' part for a lot of growers.

My understanding of why Lucas uses 2 parts bloom instead of 1 part Grow and 1 part Bloom is that the Bloom provides 1.5% Mg , so the increased Mg specifically needed for the marijuana plant is met. If you look at most competitors bloom formulas, they lack this high Mg ratio.

I think that its ironic that a gro formula that is intended mostly for veg has little N and high K.

When someone uses the lucas and thinks they are using less N it is only part true. They are definately using less K though

It just makes me think that the three parts were designed by GH to be used together.
