Lumatic LED 300w

So as an experiment iv been reccomended the Lumatic 300w LED light, but was told, as its LED it wont give off much any heat, so i run it alongside a HPS, to boost up my bubbler system as the ligh spectrum off the LED is meant to improve quality of the bud...

1 full week into VEG today and iv been struggling like mad with heat with HPS only on 250w. 30-31 degrees so nothing to worry about but that was with fans on full juice! I tried removing filter, increased the fan size u name it. Just found that if i turn the LED off it sits at 28 degrees with fan on 5% was the LED after all.

Now im in limbo, do i run just the LED i’v invested in as it sits steady at 28 degrees with fans running steady, or do i run the standard HPS light? Iv heard shit things about LED’s in general but these are meant to be top dogs. ?!?

i would rather have good leeds on 28º then any hps that runs over 30º , and
lumatek attis 300 is great

i destroyed my crop last summer because off 33cº constant (on leds), weed didnt get me high

The ats300 should be perfect for a 3x3 footprint, so I think that adding the hps is not needed.
28-30 degC in veg should be ok as long as you can keep the RH high enough.

So this is like the equivalent of commercial quantums that kind of have that branch offs? For a better lighting footprint?

thanks mate lets try this then!! I pulled 17 off my last one with the hps, wich i was happy with, the bud was top notch (critical kush) and considering i had to veg for 5/6 weeks due to making a few mistakes and the plant just didnt grow for a couple weeks at all. Plus temps was around 29/30 all the way, I cant complain. Iv been told i could be able to pull higher than that, even up to the 30 mark on these brummy bubbler set ups but im trying to break the 20 mark, id be happy matching 17 running on the LED though at a constant 28 degrees

This might sound a stupid question... would running a 300w led pull the same a saay runninf a HPS at 300w or would it pull less? My pal says they actually pull even less?

one last thing, what humidity would you aim
For for veg? 50 or higher?

RH = right humidity?

sorry lol. If thats what you mean what do you aim for during veg i always try keep it 50 or higher. This is a 1.2m x 1.2m footprint by the way (i should of mentioned that)

RH = Relative Humidity.

I run 83-85F & 70-75% RH in Veg and drop the RH down to ~60% in mid-late flower.

300 watts is 300 watts whether its hps or led.

Ahhh ok thanks mate

So i found that the humidifeir I purchsed dramaticly drops the temptreture of the tent, so i have been running with the HPS on 400wats next to the LED on full Power. The overall temp of the tent is cool but the canopy area has been 28-30 degrees. But the Left hand plant which is same side as the HPS (1st photo) is all droopy.

What can causes droopyness like this if its not heat stress? Its as if its not waking up. This video was taken 2 hours after lights came on

Dehumidifier or humidifier? Just be careful when u flip .. id say run the cooler temps . Temps are tge most overlooked issue hands down . But can be strain specific. Tgat said higher temps are florious during veg tgd plants matabolism speeds up and u get rapid growth sp yea if a humidifier increases ur tenps and gets u around 70-80 rh use that .
