lunbox24's 2nd Grow - Some 'Purple Shit' and White Rhino

It sucks, my t5 system still has not come and im pretty sure my sprouts are dead. Being put under the 1000 watter did that, i would spray them down and within an hour or two they were bone dry. Wasn't able to watch over them after because i was at work and so was my girlfriend. Still i dont think it mattered if anybody would have watered them more frequently because they just fried and i should have listened to the guy at the grow shop but at the same time i didnt really have a choice. In that situation what do you do?

CFLs are perfect for sprouts. Also a cover with just a small hole above the seed will lock in the humidity.

I've used cfl's but i didnt want to buy more lights while waiting for these ones, i dont have a lot of money....Anyways the sprouts are dead so im just gonna start 9 more of the purple seeds.

Well even though my white rhino didnt pan out i still have the four purple plants going and they are doing pretty well. I think i have at least one female just by seeing some preflowers and im hoping to see some more. There are two nice branches on three of the four plants coming out and they have been flowering for a week or so. A couple of them are almost 2 feet tall. I'll keep you updated. By the way, have been mixing in some fox farm nutes into them in the last week or so and they have taken off! I think they've grown at least 6 inches if not more. I mixed in the big bloom and some bud blood soluble and am happy with the results so far. I'll keep you updated

When into the room yesterday and noticed my biggest plant out of the four has pods all over...it was a pretty impressive plant overall, very tall and bushy but had to rip it out. the other plants aren't showing any signs of males and males show first so im thinking the other three are females! i dont know for sure, i know at least 1 is but im going to update again tomorrow.

Now looking at the other three plants they are all females! Im suprised because the humidity is very low and i heard that leads to more males but it worked for me, 3/4 were females so im pretty happy. Everyday there are more hairs on the tops. This is where it starts to get exciting. My shortest plant is now the tallest of the three and im really satisfied with the fox farm nutes + solubles. There's no doubt they've helped. Anyways, i know many people dont look at these without pics and hopefully i can get one soon to share.

Glad to see such a good ratio.

Thanks for watching 4:20, you'll be happy to know that the plants are doing great and they are flowering big time. The tops are getting nice and hairy. This is when they start to get more interesting. Dont get me wrong i like the beginning but now they are really starting to bud. Two of them are fimmed and they both have two colas growing. Im excited to see how they turn out. Im watering with nutes every other watering and i like the results with the foxfarm so far.

Just looked at the plants after a watering of nutes and they are looking great. The nodes are far apart but im hoping they will fill out. There are a lot of hairs and so far am pleased with how they look. I believe they are 2 and a half weeks in flowering.

I dont have any pictures, i dont have a camera. I wish i could share, i'll probably get a camera for christmas.

So the plants are still doing well, i went in there today and the nicest plant was knocked over, standing against the wall, i had no idea why, maybe because the top's getting heavier and its got some nice bud. The other two plants are doing alright, they aren't fattening up as much as i'd like, maybe its because i fimmed them but there's still a lot of time left.

my t5 lamp broke the other day. It still works and everything but the bracket on the top broke. I had to tie it up against the wall using the bracket on the other side and a bungy cord.. lame. I only have about a week until harvest, so im gonna wait it out before i take in my lamp to get it fixed.

Thanks steadmanclan, I watered them recently and have not looked at them because of the 12/12 situation (im at work when they're on, and home when they're off and dont want to disturb them). Anyways im going to be able to check on them tomorrow. One of the plants is bending over so its getting a lot of light over all over. Im not sure what to expect, im hoping they will have fattened up, i will let you know

by the way i did get my t5 but have been too lazy to set up cuz....well i just have

should i hang it with my 1000 watter? if i did do you put it on the side of the plant but i've heard this confuses them which makes me confused

yes, put it on the side.. more light is nothing but good unless you cant keep the temp down, otherwise it's never too much. above and all around.

look into getting yourself some green lights to allow you some night time plant care. green christmas lights work great. you can just put them up in your grow room and leave them on, or plug them in when you need to go in. You could also find some green led lights at your local growshop that are made with night time inspection in mind.

Well, I cut the plants down and got some decent weed out of them. The smoke is good and it tastes pretty good too. Didn't look after it as much as i should of so they did not grow as well as they should of but im hoping the next one goes a lot better. Thanks for the comments
