MAC1 Cappy's cut

So I acquired 3 snips of caps mac1 cut, and would like to see if any of you have run it. Got all 3 snips rooted and they are in 1/2 gallon pots in soil at the moment. Gave 1 cut to a friend.
I have noticed she grows a lot slower than anything else I have grown in past couple of years, she seems to have just started to finally take off in past few days. When I first rooted the cuts, they were slugs. Also noticed that she does not like to much water and if you soak the medium it will definitely slow her up. Also I feel she likes her cal•mag and I would definitely consider this cut a calmag hog.

Just wanted to see if any of you have run legit caps cut mac1 and what you noticed about how this cut grows and some pointers you can give me growing her. I have her under t5s at the moment for veg and will be getting them a bit bigger and transplanting into 3gal fabric pots and taken 1st rounds of cuts. Mac1 cuts will be grown out and moved into sealed flower room with co2 and a/c. Also I only feed and water with r/o water.

I know a few members on other forums that have ran the mac1 a couple times now but not sure if they stop by RIU.
@TheSpaceFarm if he still drops by has it going. He goes by sacred organic on IG i believe.

Its slow but supposedly weed is top notch.

Ya she is definitely slow, I think just watering a lot less like I have been doing past week can speed her up. When she dries out is when the mac cut really starts moving.

Yes she's quite slow and grows a little bit mutated. Giving her roots space will help speed her up some. Also, in veg you want to trim all the lowest bud sites and all those little sucker branches she puts out down there. They're worthless and just slow her down. Lollypop the whole bottom half and focus on the top. Defoliation of some upper leaves that block light also helps tremendously, as well as a little training to spread out the upper limbs a bit and get that light penetrating.

Once in flower, again, all the lower foliage is only going to hold her back and turns into popcorn. Cut it all off and focus on the upper 1/2 of the plant. Defoliate during flower to get that penetration. She can get leafy. Once stretch is over she's very easy to please. She can handle lots of light.

Go to Cap's forum, bean basement. Lots of peeps growing MAC over there.

I haven't grown it, but it's known to be slow in veg. Cap is testing MAC v2 now.

I have 2 mac's just flipped to flower. They have different looks than the others in my tent. Sativa looking leaves compared to fat indica leaves.
I got my beans from a Strainly breeder so not definite if they are Cap's cut. His grow on IG showed very impressive end product.

I'm about to run one of the caps mac1 cut to see what it's about, well see. She is definitely a finicky biznatch in veg. I will keep a cut around for more of headsmoke/exotic flower. Doubt I'll ever to a big run of her, seeing as how she is a slug in veg. Getting really unique smells from her in veg though, she legit smells like this hard candy at this Japanese restaurant in my area I get sushi from.

Not the greatest pic but here are my mac's. They are 2 weeks from flipping to 12/12. Very pleasant stem rub.
Can't really tell by that pic, mine are a lot smaller but that doesn't look like the caps cut to me dude. Caps cut has smaller, kinda funkier fans leaves that can kinda feathered out- they do not have that even spread out, wide fan leaf look- this isn't the best pic, just watered her and lollipopped so she's not going to be happy lady for days-

I have spoke to soon with previous words on the mac1, though a bit weird and finicky in veg, this cut is fire and proved itself in flower
