Magnesium deficiency?

Coco coir with perlite mix, transplanted 6 days ago. Watered with 5.8 pH water with 5 ml of CalMag added. Grown under a SF2000 light at about 30", just raised to about 36" today. The coco is at a pH of 6.3. Temp constant 73-77 (dips too cold without heater) and RH 46%-70%

According to a chart I looked at this looks like a Magnesium deficiency, any in agreement? What would cause it? Thanks for any input!

Right now that looks like heat damage from the light. Plus, your plant isn't growing upward much, another indication that the light is too close. If that light is strong, you might move it to 45" and see what happens. At least, that's how it looks right now. 5ml of calmag is a lot for a small plant, even if it's in coco. I think I'd go with a good potting soil and go easy on any extra nutrients.

Thanks for the reply, I definitely noticed the lack of upward growth on this grow. It's a new light so I'm trying to figure it out. Manufacturers recommendation for germ was 24"-30", seedlings 24", veg 18"-24", and flower 12"-18". Despite these suggestions it looks like it still needs to be higher up. I moved it up pretty much as high as I can get it in the tent and it's sitting at 36" from the tops now. I have the plants on risers to keep the root zone warm, and will remove them soon I think.
