I have just bought a video microscope.
Im trying to determine if a good time to flush ...

Im only day 42 flower which obviously seems early but I thought they look ready to flush in the video ?

I would usually flush for a week (in coco) and harvest next week

excuse the pics its painful to focus :)

Cheers all

I can't tell by these photos. The photos need to be in focus because an out of focus photo can make the light reflection from a clear trichome bloom enough to make it look like a milky trichome.

Need some ambers.. i chop at like 10% amber which is less than most people, but i like a big head high and very little body. Also.. why would you flush? it does nothing and is bs...

I’ll keep trying it’s mad holding the thing it’s so sensitive!!
I have shaky hands and I find it easier to hold things like this with both hands held as close to my chest as possible. Sometimes it's just easier to get a flexible mount to hold it still

Yeah I thought chop when 10% amber ? but maybe flush then. not sure. I don't wanna rush anything and get a lesser yield basically

Tob.. give these a read when you get a chance.. flushing is utter BS unless you are doing it to correct a salt buildup in the medium or something like that.. it has been proven many times.. i flushed and didn't flush the same strain myself, couldn't tell a difference at all..

Here is a thread about it with other people that have A/B'd it.. and most agree...

Here is a old hightimes article (some people don't like them, but it was just a top result on a quick google search)

Don't starve your plants so close to the finish line due to old wives tales :)

That a better view, you are still weeks away. The pistols are still stretching, no sense in even looking at tricomes before the pistols stop reaching out. This is a critical time when the buds put on their most weight and potency, be patient and you will be rewarded.
