30 inches? I keep my 600w like 20 inches away and they love it. Personally id lower the light they look like theyre streching

its probably light bleaching. That can cause mag def and moly def. There is a mag molecule im chlorophyll. Bleaching destroys clorophyll. Some epsom salt and green sand in tea should do the trick. Raise the light too maybe.

He's probably doing this to avoid bleaching, leds give you tight nodes as is- you can give an extra 8" without any severe stretching.

Isnt bleaching more a light yellow, almost whtie? 30"...idk, I cant speak to that light myself.

30" under LED- you can distribute that heat a hell of a lot easier than under a T5 rig; with no stretch.

Just one of the reasons why I invested in them, though I still run and love my T5's.

Cal/Mag def this early? Sayyyy what... Idk, but if they bounce back your on the right track.

Double that, they are 3", I've never seen a calmag issue this early before but that was the issue.

i keep my led about 8 inches away from my plants with no problems. they dont start to bleach until you get them really close. but then again your light is looking alot more powerful than mine lol idk. nice job so far though i cant wait to see how the ones in air pots do vs those in the standard

ok this cal mag thing
withought sounding like a arrogant son of a bitch I have a bit of advice for you ive tested 8 different led systems over the last 2 years mainly 3 watt diodes so I have a idea how to use them and am starting to get them pretty dialed in now
so I feel I can say with confidence and experience that it wasnt a Magnesium deficency you experienced at least not through the light system not at that stage of the plants life its very hard to get Mg toxicity so it wouldn't have hurt but you made a misdiagnosis bruv and was more likely the soil or feed was a little hot or slight overwatering
the other bit of advice is the size of light for the grow area
Led are fantastic and you will really dig using them but you really must forget the hype from the company's that sell them
firstly your starting height sounds good and during the grow you should be able to bring that light to around 20" once they hit flower and maybe a little closer during the final flower stage's
to close and you will notice the resin production will slow Its not like hps the effect of the light being to close is gradual and hard to spot quickly so using the height recomendations I just gave you is a guide to help this grow go smoothly
however in my opinion the 330 watts you are using to cover 16 sq ft you may find a bit lacking, in fact you are only using 20.6 watts a foot, I would say the min would be 30 watts a foot as a guide only and you may find yourself disappointed with the quality of the result its great for early veg growth but will seriously let you down in flower with that low a umpol

what does watts have to do with anything?, these lights have the new flower lenses which increase light intensity so watts doesnt mean a thing.. he is only testing and doesnt care about the hype, he is also testing at the recommended coverage..

I think campo was just looking out. when you break it down to wpsf, hes falling short and those nugs will show that, experiment or not.

Think your right campo, looks like the soil was a little strong and leaves got burnt. couldnt see any deficiency accuring this early...under 20wpsf.

loli think your missing the point here wpsf is a hps term, the idea of led is to be less watts psf so like the recommended 50 wpsf for hps.. will be less for led because the colour of the light is exactly what the plant wants.. so you dont need high wattage only intensity which is where the lens come in.. so just because its only 300 + plus watts of led doesnt mean it can't beat a 1000 hps.. it sounds like everyone is stuck in hps land .. led is different.. even the feeding needs.... and the LENS are the difference wether its 3w,5w,10w leds without them you lose a big percentage of your lights power

I understand your reasoning blocker, but I wouldn't disregard wpfs altogether just because you're running LED, yea you can run less total watts because the individual watts are a more concentrated, and efficient form (wavelengths) compared to HID- but your intensity still diminishes with less watts and more distance. I personally think blending the wavelengths is priority

Youre right- I live in central HID land. lol

the spectrum is working with led, but not the penetration.. which is where the lens comes in , to intensify the beam.. the people without the lens won't get the penetration as the people with them.. so all the people growing without the lens regardless of who makes them will say the same thing led works but they wont perform any where near hps.. the only thing that needs to be played with now is the lens, you will see.. the spectrum cant be changed too much because its quite simple.. but finding the perfect lens will be
